Goalie knocked it over the line once it came off the post. Technology works but human interference will always find a way to make a mountain out of a molehill.

Yes - shocking commentary, making out that there is something wrong with the technology because they failed to understand the incident!

Pat Nevin disagreeing with the goalline technology? What?

He may not like it, but that looks like a goal.

idiot BBC 1 commentator thinks the goal was 'very controversial'! What a tosser - deserves the sack

Now he thinks the side-netting counts - is he drunk?

I expect we will see people arguing that the slow motion replay shows doubt. Of course with the frame rate being 200 Hz at most, and the ball moving at more than 100 ft per sec, the ball can move 6 inches between frames so proves nothing

Lots of Gremio tops in the crowd tonight, including quite a number of the French fans. The game is at their rival Internacional's stadium.

Kevin Kilbane enjoying a little Columbian export:

Probably slightly less controversial than my first sentence suggests, though I doubt his missus would agree.
Her name's Alejandra Buitrago, for the Google inclined.

Bosnia made Argentina look decent, as Argentina (for all there star players) can't function properly as a team so I'll be surprised if they went onto to win the tournament. I get the impression most people who are backing Argentina are just assuming they are a good team because they have Messi, Aguero, Di Maria and co but how many people watched them pre world cup in a 90 minute game against quality opposition?

Lots of goals scored so far in this world cup but there doesn't seem to be one complete team, one team that you can see excels in all areas, even the favourites Brazil have an ordinary team compared to past great teams so I possibly shouldn't rule out Argentina as they could surprise but I think as soon as they face another big nation they will get knocked out.

Own goal and a deflection. Hodgson states that "Suarez has more to do to be considered a world great." Hodgson, will you please keep your big mouth shut because statements like that will rebound on you in the form of said player scoring against us and you being laughed at and with a hell of a lot of egg on your face.

I don't think he will be fit, overwise i think he would have been given some game time against Costa Rica, seeing as they were losing
