I think it's clear you don't know whose idea it was. <ok>

Get a little bit tired if reading endless cynicism on this board. People obsessed with negativity, controversy and conspiracy theories. Always suspicious and always playing devils advocate.

This move of the away fans has been discussed for years and years. Before the Allams and before Bruce. It is to keep inline with many many other clubs who put the away supporters in not so great positions as to stop them making their own intimidating atmosphere in an away ground.

Move on. It's necessary . If it doesn't work then they can change it back.

Cynicism? Again, that's all yours. I asked what should be a very simple question. Anything beyond you read into that was yours to start with.

Not one answer to this one.

    Whose idea was it?

    Originally Adam Pearson's.

    Why is it happening now?

Because Nick Thompson got on the SAG and got round the issues that had prevented the previous two chairman from sorting it. In addition, Steve Bruce wanted it, so it was given a higher priority.

    Will it work?

    We'll find out next season.

With practice, you'll progress to making more than the one. <ok>

I expected this to be a simple question, but it seems to be making people uncomfortable.

You assumed that my post was aimed at you.

So you are clearly self aware as to how your post comes across because my post was generalised to all the doom mongers. So the cynicism is all yours.

Doesn't really answer it. I doubt Steve Bruce initiated anything, he may have been asked about fans behind the goal. Nick Thompson's long gone and AP rejected it in the end.

Still curious as to Whose idea was this seat move?

It's curious that the current owners who seem very keen on controlling the club in all aspects are entirely absent from the blurb sent out. Odd also that SB should be troubling himself with these issues with Wembley on his mind.

    Hmmmmm.

Seems to be making the usual bobble hats nervous. <laugh>

Amazing what people can read into an innocent question. It says a lot about their thinking.

I thought it'd be a short thread. It can't be that difficult a question.

It did answer it, you're just ignoring the answer because you want to carry on being pissed off about having to move.

Adam never gave up on it, he wanted the away fans moved until they he left and Steve Bruce definitely wants City fans behind the goal, regardless of whether he instigated it or not. It's also not true to say there was no consultation, it was discussed at fan forums with the last two chairmen and Nick Thompson advised us at the FLAG meetings that he was making it a priority.

No consultation as in 'totally insufficient time to organise a move into a new area and ensuring all parties have had time to co-ordinate it successfully' <ok>

    Seat move sorted this morning.

Quite pleased with being behind the goal .

Would have made More sense to have had all the north stand .

Could it be part of a safe standing plan ?

Think olm is right and we will have to wait and see if it's a great thing....or not

It doesn't piss me off, and experience shows nobody takes much notice of you or mel, <laugh>

We're sort of opposites, I'm simply curious and you're curiously simple.

I really thought it a simple question.

People can say it's been in the offing for a while however much they want, but the fact is that it's been a sudden demand from the club this week that we move, and that we also pay at the very least a deposit within SEVEN DAYS to guarantee a seat of our choosing.

    That's a ****'s trick.

You gave an answer, and I pointed out where it doesn't fit the question. The FLAG group's views as well as Nick Thompsons are unlikely to have been taken forward based on comments from the club and from the reasons it ceased to be. They were also not the fans views, they were the opinions of those in FLAG and they had no mandate to speak for anyone but themselves.

Do I read from that you had a hand in pushing the scheme as it is now, forward?

    Yep.

If not a ****'s trick, an utterly inept clueless ****er's trick.

Oh, and anyone who's used an 'Augh' laughing emoticon on this thread as a way of strengthening their post, or demeaning someone else's, is a **** in urgent need of an imagination.
