I had a week to find a thousand quid and a new seat. I couldn't see what the view was like from my new seat because the ground is a building site. I wasn't asked if I wanted to move, just told. I preferred my view from E3 and given the choice I would have stayed. If asked nicely with a bit of consultation I may have been a bit happier about moving. As it is my views as an Hull City supporter count for nowt, so why bother asking.

Answer: we don't know for sure. As usual obfuscation and conflicting statements are given out.

Where any fan groups consulted about what they wanted or what they think? After all, fans are at the sharp end up and down the country and have useful experience of what works and what doesn't work.

Let me guess 'No one tells me how to organise my stadium'

I guess it's because I have read previous posts, on another thread, where you were active and this was, I thought, adequately covered; it comes across as a contrived criticism. For what it's worth, I think the proof of the pudding . . .
The clue, as with the title seems a tad obtuse. But hey, crack on; let's see if something original comes up. <ok>

Are you paying tomorrow? Even by choice you won't move seats, and ignore the issues raised on other threads.

So, redeem yourself, the subject of the thread's clear, you either know, or don't know how it came about. If you know, please share, if you don't you've nothing to add.

So, you don't know how it came about, but thought you'd answer another question incorrectly. Seems about right for you.

Could this move be in anticipation of the introduction of a safe standing area? I'm not sure if it was an official idea or just some musings on here, but I recall someone saying the North Stand would be ideal for that.

Agreed. I think someone's got the idea somewhere with our small time attitude that we need to be like some other club, but they haven't realised that every other club in the PL has the same noise issues and the one advantage we've got is a long-established and well organised singing section. We're getting rid of that to have home fans behind both goals. Except for the seats with away fans in anyway.

I did know I needed a pass. I thought, like most of our supporters, I would be given more than a week to pay if I wanted to have a choice of seats. It would appear that apart from those in E1 to E3 all other season ticket holders have until July to pay for theirs.

    Yawn
    http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/HULL...arrangements/story-11977231-detail/story.html

HULL City are considering changing seating arrangements at the KC Stadium in a bid to improve the atmosphere at home games.

The Tigers are looking at the possibility of moving away fans out of the North Stand, allowing City fans to fill behind both goals.

Head of football Adam Pearson believes this will give Tigers fans use of the best facilities, and help generate a better atmosphere.

"In all new stadiums away fans are in a corner, with home fans at both ends, and there is always a better atmosphere," Pearson told the Mail.

"If we were in an ideal world the stadium wouldn't be laid out as it is now.

"It can't be right to have our supporters stuck in corners of the ground with the worst facilities."

Pearson hopes it will be possible to move away fans into the north east corner of the stadium, freeing up the main area of the North Stand for Tigers fans.

But he admits a number of security issues and systems will have to be looked at before a change can be made.

"I have been told repeatedly that it is down to security reasons but hopefully we can look at it now from afresh and start taking all the obstacles out of the way," Pearson added.

The move would not be an unprecedented as both Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers have recently moved away fans from behind the goals to accommodate their own fans.

It is also the way seating is arranged at the Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.
