I love that man - please take mention of him out of the transfer rumour thread!
Same reason conspiracy theories are so popular, the real world is much less exciting.
That being said people who feel mistreated (is that a word?) don't always think clearly and often think revenge will settle a score.
As far as I can tell he is always happy! Really comes across as the kind of guy you'd like to go for a beer with!
But he was offered a significant increase to his already significant salary to stay. Hardly mistreated. Plus as a smart cookie, everything he does is with a view to an end result. Not sure what this would be - too much water already under bridge for it to be to make him look good.
As I have said before I don't think it's Cortese himself. But I can't denie I have a feeling some one is stiring it with the papers. It is coming from the same people that loved Cortese and always got the stories etc about us.

Yeah I agree with you I was just offering an alternative idea. These rumours are nothing more than newspapers trying to make money. Oh and attention seekers on Twitter hoping that someone listens to the rubbish they spout.

Bitterness? Couldn't hack that they got replaced? Or mental? Maybe all three?
Nah, I just don't really buy the bitterness bit. Who knows. Certainly not making sense for NC anyhow.
Nothing to prove if it is happening or not. Until then people will have doubts or thoughts that stuff is happening. Everyone has their own opinion. I am just not ruling it out.
