We've had to revise the entry fee due to a lack of interest. Its now 5p And you get a mug and a t-shirt. Basically we're paying people to join.

Can I sign up for a few family members? I'll give you 50p and you can forward the mugs and t-shirts to the same address as last time.

Recently read this, from the "Secret Footballer" (take it as you want, as in some will claim it's doggy doo-doo's, others will use it as ammo):

As for the manager, Alan Pardew, he seems to take the praise with ease when Newcastle win and finds a lot of excuses that point blame as far away from himself as possible during the tougher times.

Chris Hughton's sacking at Newcastle came as a surprise to many but I was told that Pardew had been working on Ashley for months by hanging around the Ritz casino and gambling with him until they'd formed some sort of friendship. Suddenly, he's the Newcastle manager.

He is an interesting character but not my favourite person.

Sounds like your usual dodgy shenanigans AB. You do realise the mugs and t-shirts have the words TEAM PARDEW pritned in fairly unmissable print and the following pictures made into a lovely collage:

Just keep the 50p and forget about sending the mugs and t-shirts.

Personally I think this whole incident has been blown out of all proportion, to even call it a head butt is laughable. All he did was push his head into him abit, and I doubt the player even had a scratch on him afterwards. Pardew got a red card for it, which is punishment enough. This is a perfect example of the media trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill:biggrin:

As opposed to you trying to make a molehill out of a mountain

John Barnes was on Talksport this morning and did bring some sense to proceedings, clearly stating that Meyler (Durden) played his part in Fight Club and without the initial push, nothing else would have happened. Would any other club have reacted the same? It's so intriguing that with all the alleged managerial undermining to have taken place at Newcastle, when the best opportunity in the world comes to sack him with limited recompense, it isn't taken.

Whilst Bruce was very gracious in his response - I was seriously impressed, all things considered - it still deflected from Meyler, who for me should have been sent off. What Pardew should have done is took a flamboyant dive backwards, flying, arms a-flailing, into his own bench - he should have had some kind of WWE-inspired look of utter horror on his face with Macho Man Randy Savage screaming from the commentary "he's knocked out the manager, ooooooh yeeeeeaaaahhhh". Then Meyler would have seen red, and we'd have scored a few more.

I think you are spending too much time watching Tiote

Fredor has been really angry since his team got humped in the cup final. It appears our fans enjoying it has sparked the tirades.
