Like I said. Getting angry is understandable. If you can't control your emotions to any degree, however, and yourself enough to not push officials or head-twerk players, then how are you going to be respected by the players you manage, the fans, opposition managers, the FA, potential advertisers? I never said he was the devil. He's a petulant child and would deserve a sacking, if football wasn't, rather absurdly, a law unto itself (actually proven re-John Terry).

And yes, SAF should have been facing much greater sanctions than he did... How hard is it to grasp?! I don't think it has any place in sport, and should not be treated with a childish or passive attitude... A manager striking, aggressively/attacking/ pushing/ threatening a ref/player/another manager/a fan should be given severe sanctions, especially for repeat offences, which makes your whole "heat of the moment" thing bullknackers.

If the straw I'm clutching at is asking for the manager of Newcastle United to have some respectability, professionalism, and not be facing FA sanctions every few matches, then what the hell analogy may we use for you defending him?
