Why would Suarez leave Sturridge, Countinho, Gerrard etc to play with the likes of Chadli and Lamela? lol Imagine Suarez moving from playing with Sturridge to Soldado hahaha Cissokho is yours however
Only problem Stevie G my old mate is that Vertonghen also wants to win things, I know most say it's the taking part that counts and I'm sure you'll enjoy your inevitable Champions League venture next season but knowing you'll just be technically making up the numbers, he'll probably want to join one of those "big" clubs like Barcelona so he can enjoy the excitement of challenging for major honours. Eriksen unfortunately won't like the bench role you're offering, plus he's just about breaking through here and I'm sure he'll want to settle in England first before moving to an area where the accent would mean he'll practically need to learn a new language. I fully commend Liverpool on their stance of not selling star players, however, the lure of Real Madrid is too great for any player and board to resist. (Best hope Suarez has a **** world cup to make Real turn their nose up at him).
Well you see, there is a method in my madness. Suarez has been so used to mediocrity with Liverpool that actually getting into the Champions League will be a culture shock for him, thus he may want to continue challenging for Europa and domestic honours, besides, Liverpool's Champions League venture will unfortunately be short lived meaning he won't rack up too much in appearance bonuses. He wouldn't play with Soldado, we'd obviously be willing to loan him to you through generosity of course
Well if he wants to win trophies, he will certainly leave Spurs, you havent won nothing for decades :L Vertoghen will be joining the best attacking team in EUROPE! No one has scored more than Suarez this season and onlly Aguero scored more goals/mins. He will tighten the defence and LFC will win stuff Vertoghen and Lloris will be great. Could get both for £30m hopefully as Spurs wont be getting CL football and need the cash
You're forgetting our unforgettable Carling Cup victory my friend! A Jonathan Woodgate extra time winner against the cash rich Chelsea. Historical moment right there. Unfortunately Stevie G, once Suarez leaves for either Spurs or Madrid, you'll no longer be the best attacking team in EUROPE (thought I'd caps it too just to add spice to the moment). £30m would get you Lloris, though I'm afraid you'd need to pay more than Vertonghen
Smaller is debatable when you consider recent seasons (by recent, I mean not back to your glory, glory days, so no need to bring that up with you won this and that back in 1847 ). We have the London factor to entice Suarez, he'd love a good old pie and mash!
After spending £110m on trash, dont think Spurs have another £80m to spend on Suarez. Haha you guys make me laugh, Suarez to Spurs. Good one!
I'm glad I make you laugh, annoying or disrespecting scousers isn't really my forte, wouldn't want my car stereo to be nicked now would I! £80m is chump change for Joe Lewis the billionaire, though naturally we'd offer £30m plus the Spanish international Soldado, German international Holtby and future England star Danny Rose - irresistible deal. We'll even throw in Kyle Naughton for good will
True, is this like the 3rd straight season Spurs been playing Europa League? Look like it will be another season of Europa League for you guys.
Rather not thanks, not next year anyway,2015 yes,but by then the team will have gelled and we will have finished top 4
And we look forward to it, can't beat a Europa Euro Night at WHL! I don't like the Champions League theme anyway, never been a fan of opera/ classical music.
Thinking of what a combined LFC and Spurs team would look like. Heres my guess: -----------------------LLoris Flannagan.....Vertoghen----Sakho----Agger ------------------------Gerrard----- ------------------Countinho----Eriksen(if he tracks back, otherwise Paulinho) ---Sturridge-----------------------------Sterling (better than Lennon) ------------------------Suarez Looks a good team. Maybe drop Eriken for Paulinho or Sandro.
