I think so, I hope so. He's still a bit of an enigma so it's hard to say how passionate he is but he's shown signs of catching the bug.

I got the numbers wrong there fella.
Larsson, Gardner and Bardsley are out of contract and are on steve bruce 30k+pw wages, Cuellar, Westwood and Colback are out of contract too.

    Loans are as follows.

    Ki
    Borini
    Alonso
    Vergini
    Ustari
    Dossena
    Celustka

So that would be 13 off the books straight away, plus we should be debt free and running in the black with parachute payments. Financially we'll be fine, stay up and we've another big build summer.

Oooof, that would be some clear out. I guess you better pray for safety as I wouldn't fancy your chances of promotion if you lost that lot.

And how many of them do you hope/expect to keep if you stay up? Some fairly important players to you on that list.

Precisely. Colback, Borini, Ki, Larsson etc. would be big misses. Plus I guess if they did go down, then prem / overseas clubs would potentially bid for the likes of a Fletcher, Mannone and Johnson. So it could look pretty grim.

Ki, Borini & Alonso are defo keeps. Vergini too soon to say. Of the others, I'd keep Gardner & Bardsley, but the rest...

What's the chances of keeping the ones you highlight Sid? Ki is a bit more dubious now that Laudrup's gone I would have thought.

Dunno TBH. Borini knows he'd be behind Suarez and Sturridge; Ki doesn't appear to be wanted by Swansea, for reasons I cannot fathom and Alonso..? Well, he's only just got here. We all know if we drop we'll have trouble keeping the better players, but I'd hope we'd tie in those three if we can.

I see most of the Sunderland not606 fans agree with the criticism of the empty stadium.

I can't see Borini or Ki staying if you're in the championship to be honest.

Probably right, which would be a shame. Borini especially. Seems to score in the important games... :)

RAW is a decent lad and speaks his mind. Smug seems to be all over the place again.

He does like his hats, but score three goals in the same season, I mean same game?

    Sounds good to me. :)
