Surprised it's returned at 59.5%

I thought a lot more were against it.

They are in every other poll. Others have been more like 90% against. This is just one group.

I was also surprised by it, but it'd be foolish to think this one vote (which took place immediately after Allam's latest threats to walk out if anyone questioned him) dilutes the several other votes even more against it.

I'm in the OSC (at the moment). How can anybody from the OSC express views from the membership when it was a yes or no ballot which didn't invite any further comment. The 'no' to the name change won.

This.

That CTWD statement is excellent as always. Great work <ok>

was that CTWD statement checked with the OSC .. or have you driven a deeper crack between you guys ? .... not helpful as they carry more weight (FA wise) .. that was a very condescending statement tbh

Why would they carry more weight with the FA, they represent less fans than we do?

We have a lot of support within the OSC and we're happy to work more closely with them if they want to.

like I say . was it checked that you used their link and they allowed you to use their data on a link ... just pointing out you need to check these things before posting boldly about them ,,, its really easy copyright stuff ... and if they go against .. your name (CTWD) is discredited and seen like a rat grabbing info where they can

nothing offensive meant but you need to speak and get agreement before posting articles. a simple disclaimer at the end of article will help .. but be careful .. I got bit (as you well know) .. just don't open any doors for them to get into if you know what I mean mate

Has anyone compiled an album of all the supporting banners that have been photographed on match days in grounds all over the UK and World? Brings a tear to my eye!

Taking into account that a large proportion voted yes, don't they need to represent them also?

CTWD vote must have been rigged, I can't believe 100% voted against.
Why would anyone who joined the CTWD campaign not vote against the name change?

It's information in the public domain and posting a link to a website is not copyright infringement.

The OSC respond to our statements, we respond to theirs, there is absolutely no issue with either.

fair play ... just saying that be careful when you not only have the OSC but whos behind them ... as in the guy who wants it to go ahead ... and if you think he isn't then your a fool ... (again sorry bud)

The OSC is in a difficult position. No matter what the outcome, it has to maintain a working relationship with the club.
It was never set up to be involved in this sort of issue and the name change has divided its officers and membership.

In order to reach a goal of supporter shareholding CTWD tip toes to the same tune as the OSC.
The HCSS needs to protect its relationship in order to keeps its privileges.
Tigers co op, does it want to lose its "Tigers Lottery" sales?

There are many fans who don't want the name change, but still want Assem Allams money and they do not want him to walk away. It's alright posting on here that he will not do it, but if he is as foolish as posters say about the benefits of the name change why wouldn't he be as foolish by walking away and not putting any more money in.

I think Bernard Noble will put forward the results of the poll and he will put forward the view that without the clubs support the OSC cannot survive. Just like the CTWD the OSC is against the name change but wants to remain on good terms with Assem Allam.

Surely not at all costs, or at least the cost of what little credibility it had as supporters group? It's not "either or" regarding being on good terms with Mr Allam, if it is, that's a problem in itself and doesn't bode well.

The OSC are there to represent their members. In that, they've failed.

I would suggest that if the osc (or other groups affiliated to the club) cannot approach & discuss their poll results & member's views in an open & honest manner with AA without the threat of losing privileges, then they do not have a working relationship either to maintain or worth maintaining.

So out of over 1,400 members only 555 voted against the name change ..

I still think the majority of supporters aren't that bothered.

This vote makes me think that's the case also.

I'm sure all those dead against the change would have voted. ?

IF the name change is passed do you think the CTWD group will start a new club ?

Or is it to soon to say ?

I think if everyone in e1 e2 e3 go off to support the new club I WILL do the same...stupid as it might sound I know I would .

There's a lot of kids in the OSC and under 16's aren't allowed a vote.

In any vote, only those who voted are counted, it's ridiculous to assume that anyone who didn't vote would have voted one way or the other, you can just as easily say that out of over 1,400 members, only 25% support the proposed name change.
