Could it have been that the OSC may have told the FA that they do not have the resources to conduct such a poll?
Of course the signings are linked to his campaign - he needs to stay up, it isn't a nice-to-have. The OSC will discover the price of lickspittle subservience, is the silence of the lambs. Allam is most dangerous when silent. These revelations of PLT merit their own thread, in line with the rules/guidance of this sticky. Every means possible should be used to raise public awareness of this and show this man for what he really is.
It's not a revelation Fez, the KC poll was never considered. I have posted before, the OSC is damned if it does and damned if it doesn't. Polls will be conducted of ALL Hull City supporter groups won't they? Or will they?
CTWD have the resources to conduct such a poll and have offered to work with the OSC to make it happen.
Someone seems to know something so perhaps a few facts would be useful or any conversation is pointless. I very much doubt polls will be conducted of anyone other than CTWD and the OSC, with the instigator of the name-change being the party expected to progress that. He has the resources to support the OSC in that, CTWD could call a funding appeal - I would gladly donate the ticket price of the next game I will not attend. Edit: typed as OLM declared the position of CTWD - the ball is in Allams court.
I'm not sure what you are saying. Are you saying that the OSC was asked by the FA to hold a poll today at the Chelsea match and rejected it without considering it? not606 have held numerous polls on the name change. Its fairly clear that the posters on CI are opposed to the name change. I know some people disagree but I think paying £2 to join CTWD indicates that they are opposed to the name change so I don't really think a poll is necessary. However all this pales into insignificance if the FA asked the OSC to organise a ballot of City supporters at the Chelsea match and they've refused to even consider it. We would have had a definitive result one way or the other about how Hull City supporters really felt.
I can't understand why the FA would ask the OSC to poll everyone at a game, why wouldn't they ask the club to do it? CTWD have asked AA to reconsider his decision to renege on a fan vote and we could organise one ourselves if that's what the FA want, though we're running out of time.
So the club are, allegedly, against and alleged poll being conducted outside the ground today, run by CTWD and the OSC, while CTWD are handing out postcards to bombard the FA with? No way to tell who is voting more than once, no control over undue influence, no guarantees of impartiality (Here CTWD member, have 1000 voting tickets, can you give them out please?....Erm.....sure.....). The club were allegedly against that? No ****ing way! ALLAM OUT! ****ing morons. Right, that should keep me narky enough in the car up north now, so thanks.
I have no idea. I took your questions to imply you knew something about the FA's request. The questions I would ask, in order, are: 1. Did the FA ask the OSC to organise a ballot of supporters at the Chelsea match? 2. Did the OSC ask the club for help/permission to run the ballot? 3. Did the club say no, and told the OSC, if you do it that's the end of your privileges? If CTWD had been asked to organise a ballot and refused there would have been hundreds of e-mails asking us what we were trying to hide. I think, if it is true, that if the OSC wasn't prepared to organise a ballot after being asked to by the FA it is a poor show.
How could we know, you never actually say what it is you reckon you know and ignore people that point out the weakness in many of your shifting scenarios. If you know something, post it. Just posting possible negative scenarios and trying to hint you could know something but never backing it up or elaborating is hardly helpful. You just come across as bitter at not being in any of the loops.
We offered co-operation with the OSC, they refused, as they are entitled to do. As OLM said we had no idea that the FA asked the OSC to conduct a ballot today, if true. The postcards are a long standing part of our campaign and we have two home games to distribute them before our meeting with the FA so today was a natural opportunity to hand them out. If I was organising a ballot today. I'd have ballot boxes with voting papers. Show the pass/ticket and you get to vote. I'd record the pass number/ticket number to stop people voting early and often. There would be one at each stand and Happy Tiger would be allowed to check the voting to make sure he was happy with the outcome. A ballot is a serious business and it would be important to do it right.
Surely all you had to do was make CTWD open to season pass holders only. Then you could have had affiliate membership for others. You have all the email addresses for CTWD members it would take little effort to get a list of pass holders from that. Can think why you wouldnt do that.
So Are you saying that you knew of a request from the FA? If you have the resources why don't CTWD conduct a neutral poll today, why do you need any other group? Fez, I asked questions and not one, not one single question ever gets fully answered straight. I point out mis leading posts and the barrage starts. You ask for facts, well mate ask away at your reps. You are a member of CTWD not me. It's your £2 on the line mate not mine. It does seem odd to me Fez that you tear into Ricardo and analyse everyone of his words posted, but freely accept the mislead posts as simply errors. Read through my posts and find one that is clearly wrong about the name change and supporters trusts. You may believe that I have a hidden agenda, I declared my agenda, supporter involvement.
The sort of man who saved the club....appointed Steve Bruce...got us back in the premier league and is doing a great job to try and keep us up. All hail Assem Allam long may he own the club.
I save your life, I own your arse? I see a business opportunity, I own your arse? What a shallow, undignified position to hold.
