It was in the Look North interview. The accounts cost less than £5.00 if you get them electronically from Companies House and the new loan figures should be in the next set. Unlike Bartlett I don't think him and Ehab are taking much money out of the club. I suspect the interest has to be charged to get the tax breaks for his other companies and comes back into the club. I don't think the club has paid any dividends either.
Personally I see Assem Allam has an astute businessman, which means he'll get value for money, who wants City to succeed which means he'll put money into the club if he has it.
His financial reward comes from establishing City as a premier league club, and if he wants to, selling his shares.
Its just like City, we get a bloody good owner and he takes offense at our name.
Tigers is and will be the nickname, the shortened form, or whatever semantics you rest on. It's not an issue of the slightest importance.
Everyone should have learnt by now that what AA says and does today is not a great indicator of what will happen tomorrow. He bought the club with a huge assumption that he could railroad through a deal on the stadium - because to him it made total sense. The council scuppered that, hence this name-change debacle. Don't underestimate his options and his propensity to look after number one; nor should anyone make the same mistake the Newcastle fans made and underestimate the time frame a determined owner will operate in. This has a good deal of travel in it.
As you may have gathered I don't underestimate anything, including Assem Allam giving Hull Tigers a new nickname. Some of the things he wants cost a lot of money and he would need to raise it first. A premier league club devours a lot of cash because of the players' wages. As you say the road is long.
I think there's been more than enough opportunity and discussion to try to find a reason the name change will benefit the club, and clearly none is forthcoming, so, anyone care to guess at some other possible reason(s) for the name change?

I remain unconvinced by the council theory, it's possible, but it seems a little weak to me.
I think it's actually nothing more than Assem wanting to stamp his authority on the club and there's no bigger way to do that than change the name of the club.
I aren't happy with the name change at all, it's really irritating and daft.
But, we wouldn't even have been at Newcastle on saturday celebrating an incredible win if it wasn't for the Allams, where would we be? At Ferriby? I find it hard to go against the Allams after everything they've done, I can't believe anyone would stop going over the name change, I don't know how anyone could. Support the club through everything, don't stop supporting, after all it's not those lads on the pitch's fault.

The argument that just because Assem Allam bought the club he can do what he wants with it is to me the most supine and soulless argument there is.
Hull City is a big part of the community and the identity of Hull, nationally and internationally. It should not be up to one very rich man to decide to change something so fundamental as its name, in the same way he decides to buy yet another personalised number plate for his fleet of Rolls Royces and Bentleys.
Allam needs to show more respect for City supporters. His claim that he pays the bills and so can do what he wants is not only wrong morally, it's wrong factually. The collective contribution of ordinary supporters in season tickets alone this year runs into millions, let alone other match day tickets and merchandise and so on. Together we too pay the bills.
Also, City are bank-rolled to the tune of ten times our season ticket receipts this year by the Premier League TV deal. Yes, Allam stepped in with a generous loan at the right time a couple of years ago when we were struggling and he wanted to buy the stadium. That doesn't give him the right to do whatever he wants and to be contemptous of the ordinary fan by claiming that somehow he pays the bills and we don't, or by threatening to move the club out of Hull, as if there's only the matter of his own whim to consider.
There are lots of examples in the business world where buying something doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want with it. Only this summer regulations were brought in to stop owners selling community assets without consultation, and already Old Trafford and Anfield have been registered under these regulations. To the reported annoyance of their super-rich owners, but the greater good and satisfaction of their ordinary fans.
Anyone who thinks that being rich means you should be allowed to do what you want needs to think more deeply.

He can do what he wants with the club if he wants to leave the Premier League. Unfortunately for him if he doesn't and wants all the TV money he has to abide by the Premier League rules which says he has to consult the stakeholders, that includes us, the supporters.
So until he fully complies with the rules we remain Hull City AFC. I wonder if he's going to give us all a vote like Everton.

They are entitled to opinions, just as every poster is and it's garbage like this that was the reason for me jacking it in.
As for ignoring the posts in favour, there's very little in the way of reasons that have been put forward in twelve pages of posts so far and most simply say that it's okay because Assem fancies it, which is an excuse, rather than a reason.
