How did the Pats do? Couldn't be bothered to watch it. Heared Tebow was same old tho.

Brady was his usual self, consummately carving the defence open at will, Mallett was OK, Tebow was Tebow, was really the run game which did all the work, Blount actually looked very handy but by the time he came out he was facing the third-team defence.

Having Tebow makes me want to cry. :(

Just been over on SaintsWeb (as you do) and read a few of Barry Sanchez's posts. Basically, Cortese won't pay a high enough price to get signings and he pays too much for players. Barry can't even see the contradictions in those two statements.

On Sunday Supplement, thy were just talking about Coventry and said that the name, the ground, the badge and the colours are the soul of the club. Martin Samuel then said Cortese has destroyed the soul of Southampton by dropping the stripes which we have always worn consistently since the turn of the century.

Martin Samuel can **** off.

I think the soul of Southampton does not rely on having white stripes on our kit. Think we have a lot more to us than that.

Btw...big spread on Wanyama, his background and influential sports teacher in the Sunday Mail.

Martin Samuel has had an anti-Cortese agenda for a long time now. He can string a sentence together, but sadly that doesn't prevent him from being an arse.
