Embarrassing for those fans, yes.

The club have huge marketability.

Doubtless Liverpool have a worldwide fanbase. It hasn't translated to success on the pitch though, for whatever reason, be that financial mismanagement or outdated coaching methods. Not really sure. Don't think you'd find a lot of Liverpool fans calling the Premiership years, a roaring success. It is, just an opinion though.

Financial, owners, poor decisions... bit of everything.

Certainly not a roaring success... but compared to nearly every club in the country we've done very well. Very few teams win things.

Just like Arsenal, who have not had the success they want, but have certainly still done pretty well comparatively.

I'm happy with our success, sure we have been trophyless for a few years but that is nothing compared to some teams. Only regret is not doing as well as we should have in the CL.

It would appear that Brendan Rodgers who says Luis Suarez should show some loyalty to Liverpool didn't show the same loyalty to Pepe Reina

Err, We signed Mig because Reina's agent said he wanted to go to Barca, it was well publicised. Barca then opted to keep valdes but by then the wheels were in motion and we singed Mig. Reina's own stupid fault

Pfft - Reina is now playing CL football under a Manager he has played under before for the runners up in the Serie A - it might not be his prefered destination but he is in with a shot at a league title and european competition now. He should just shut up and deal with it!

Cazorla already came out and rubbished the rumour.... Bale doesn't seem to have done the same though... <whistle>
