The £40,000,001 bid activated a clause that possibly allowed Luis to talk to Arsenal, why has there been no reports that this has happened but there are reports that Arsenal have upped their bid to £42.5m which is clearly not going to be enough? How come these bids by Arsenal keep making it into the media?

But don't let that worry you, you're "on the cusp" of nabbing our star "striker" <diva>
In all honesty any quotes about Arsenal bidding for Suarez have come from Liverpool. As far as i'm aware Arsenal have made no comment about bidding for Suarez.

Which leads me to another scouse trait. An inability to keep their mouths shut about anything. Give 'em a topic, they'll have an opinion, even if it's something they know nothing about.

TalkSport just spouts ****e so that people will pay 10p per minute to phone them or 50p to text.People get wound up by Adraian Durham but never stop to think that the ginger **** is just reading from a script. His sidekick Gough makes it so obvious that he's reading from a piece of paper.

I never listen to that fortunately. I just couldn't believe my eyes when I saw such an obviously fabricated headline.

If you ever listen to any TalkSport programme all the presenters do is mention the phone number. They move from topic to topic in the hope that people will phone them.If you are free at 16-00hrs UK time today listen to the Drive programme. They will have a "debate" and it's so obviously scripted it's embarrasing

So it's basically 5live for stupid people?

I think I heard the interview they did a few weeks back with Kinnear. On talksport drive if I'm not mistaken. That time, it was overshadowed by Kinnear himself so I didn't get to hear just how cringe-worthy they actually were.

The Kinnear interview was originally transmitted live on "The Sports Bar" but TalkSport kept on repeating it

If it's commercial, don't they make money from commercials? How much money does a radio station need?
You can only make so much money from commercials.Don't forget the amount of money paid by an advertiser is dependant on the size of the audience for a particular programme. The dearest adverts on ITV are those at the beginning, middle and end of Coronation Street because that is the programme with their biggest audience share

It's impossible to listen to that station, it's mainly adverts with a tiny bit of discussion in between and yeah plugs for the number to call in. On 'Drive' the presenters obviously choose a side on each topic beforehand which is generally a question. So if it was 'Should Suarez go to Arsenal?' Durham will take the no side and Gough yes, that's the programme and it's terrible.
