You finished 5 points off City who themselves were 11 points off Man Utd. And since them you have released half your squad and brought in some kid on a free. 17 years of Wenger and you're falling further and further behind. Even if you got Suarez all it would mean is that you go from guaranteed to drop out of the top 4 to having a chance of clinging on for another year.
In BR's single year at LFC he has taken the club forward.

I think a lot of Liverpool fans would agree with you too, can't see you getting too many Arsenal fans agreeing that a cup win is better mind

The £40,000,001 bid activated a clause that possibly allowed Luis to talk to Arsenal, why has there been no reports that this has happened but there are reports that Arsenal have upped their bid to £42.5m which is clearly not going to be enough? How come these bids by Arsenal keep making it into the media?
