See, there's the problem right there. You took what I said completely out of context; I was making a comparison and you've spun it and inserted something about children in there. Don't ever do that, it's ****ing annoying is what newspapers like The Sun do.
Who's going to be knocking on my door because of a joke? A joke in a thread titled worst jokes ever? If I put something on Facebook (I have done before) and somebody calls me up on it I'll gladly explain the thinking behind it. But it will never come to that, it never has and it never will. It isn't to provoke a reaction from anybody. It was simply a thread to siphon all the rude stuff into one place so that sensitive people such as yourself don't come across it in another thread. It comes across that you weren't content with simply letting people post jokes in one place, you wanted them gone all together, which in my opinion, is wrong. They're just words on a screen pal, I highly doubt a couple of knob gags are going to start a flash mob.

Unless I've missed something, those kind of jokes are not spread about our football threads, It was you who introduced them - so could you class that as self-harm? Your so-called effort to save us all from that dross is pathetic and a sham. Common sense might tell you that folk have curiosity that leads to incredulity and then shock and disgust; you generated all of that, as I don't think any right thinking user of this board really expected to see some of that material, no matter how broad-minded they are. I like a good joke, I can use barrack-room language and humour, but some of you went to another place, you tested the board and you have been taken to task, simple as that.

Let me be clear, I am not mod-bashing, but I do believe they made a serious mistake,but it is their piss-poor defence of that that fails some of us. But clearly, don't challenge, just **** off is the response from OLM; what, like he did with WYP?

Maybe I underestimated how far it would go.

As a writer, I'm constantly under pressure to write in a certain way to please others. It takes 3 months to get a script spot on, you send it off and I get notes that say "oh you can't say knob before 9." Or "all looks good, obviously some of it will have to be edited out, such as the reference to a gun". It completely screws up all the hard work I put in and I'm sick of it. Censorship is fine, but it's going too far (anybody who's seen an episode of Friends during the day will know what I mean) and I suppose the last few days have pushed me over the edge.

I sincerely apologise to anybody I've offended, please understand that I never set out to offend when I write and I leave everything I do open to interpretation. Like art, everybody will see things differently and if people aren't happy with what I do or say, then that's their problem because I can't please everybody.

I've never actually been on 4chan, although I hear it's pretty wild.

This whole thing about being somebody else on the Internet isn't true. I'm not that much of a softie that I'd let some nobody from the US 'ruin my life'. The way I speak on here, my views, my opinions , are exactly the same in real life as they are on here. Why would I pretend to be somebody else? It wouldn't prove or solve anything. Maybe at the 1st Annual Not606 ball you'll meet me and find out

As far as I know, I’ve never met you or most of the contributors to the joke thread. However, I think within all of that, most reasonable people will realise that no real malice was intended, even if they found the subject matter distasteful.

It seems some people are getting fairly hysterical about it all and allusions to tracking people down and exposing them makes them look pretty unstable and in my opinion, they are a bigger threat/problem than the initial panic about the ‘jokes’..

Out of interest, are you a professional comedy script writer then?

Fair point, as i said in my last post there is a place for this openness you talk about And i dont think you would like as open as it goes there, On a hole this forum is pretty good we discuss football and some of topic things and Bollitics when it suits the management! You can always learn something new on some post. You can totally disagree with posters to a point of disliking them, then they post a great post which in the next breath see you kissing arse and thats all part of it for me. But i am sorry that sort of thread was going to go only one way, and was shocked in the way it was handled.

Nice one. Tried my hand at that myself and still do, but never get past stage 1.

I always end up picking holes/destroying it before I can properly finish it/anything.

Sorry DMD the system works when it suits YOU! If want to refer to when i asked about one of my family members been called a **** kiddie fiddler to be removed (the system works ) you full well know it could have got a hell of a lot worse. and dealt with it in the simple way, and contempt it deserved and asked You and PLT as mods to do your job and deal with it!

should say you can access 4chan, but really really wouldn't recommend it

as for dark market you wont find it it runs on a totally different network and that place is ****ed up. they talk about and print and upload and sell anything and i mean anything they deal in money that cannot be traced, you can pay people on there to ruin peoples lives, buy guns, drugs, And of cause cigs.

Nothing to do with suiting me at all. Much of the recent issue didn't involve me so I could have made better use of my leisure time on a warm day. Instead I've answered the same points (splattered with abuse) no end of times about something that happened while I was out!!

As for your photos, you asked for it to be deleted, it was. How easy was that compared to abuse and threats?
