It's called the transfer window effect. I wonder what percentage of deals are done in the last few days of the window and what percentage of paper articles are simply made up.
If his "lifestyle" is based around women rather than drink and drugs it shouldn't be too detrimental to his football. Most of us have to chase around pubs and clubs to even get one woman a night but I'm sure he can send out a lackey to pick up a few and take them to his place every night he's not training the next day.

He played 27 league games and eight internationals. There's a lot of high scoring games in Turkey, they don't seem to pay much attention to defending.

Its not really a lot, as OLM said the football there is more open. Stockdale kept 9 clean sheets in 24 appearances, which means about 37% of his appearances were clean sheets. I don't know what the average for the Championship was, but I imagine that's just above it.

Fair enough, you haven't been, but I grew up and live in the West coast of Scotland and they're awful here, and a lot of them are my friends, but most definitely bitter.
