Also, reports in Spain suggest Manchester City have completed the signing of Jesus Navas.

Yeah, he doesn't even travel to all away games with Sevilla because of it. Not sure how that would work.

And he's not got the time to savour it, he's really got to power through. Even if he's got the incredible virility to bash one out and get past the downtime in less than three minutes, he's going to be dealing with aches, cramps and burns.

In other transfer news, Hull City are trying to sign Kasper Schmeichel.

This could have high comedic value for the upcoming season! Amazing how people can get over most barriers when a massive wad of cash is waved in their face!

I would have thought a twist on the "I want to go home" chant will be in the pipeline.

That's a really very serious case of homesickness. Wow. Can't see him swapping Seville for Manchester then!

Probably a decent move I reckon.

Re. Chelsea, I can see them challenging Utd this season, to be honest with Mata, Hazard and...well...Torres up front they should have overcome Man City who were never special last year. Plus the problems that Moyes will have to deal with, Rooney, the whole defence, not being Ferguson etc, I can't see them doing as well as last year. I don't think Pellegrini will be able to instantly turn City back around. If I was Moyes, I would do everything to sign Lewandowski and hope the rest comes together. Hope we get to play some of them early on again.

Good enough for me to spend the last 15 minutes sitting in silence and reflecting on it.

So the second interview went ok I think. The hardest question was probably what do you think would be your day to day activities in the role. Hope it's enough. But like I said before, it seems to me that only perfection is enough. Still the recruitment manager was from new Zealand so spoke about the cricket, shows I'm a people person!!
