Would save us £85K a week though, third highest paid player at the club and has barely played five games this season
The various wage packets have been rumoured for some time, this is believed to be closest to the truth, it fits in with many previous calculations. Jamie Sanderson has also reported that Rosicky was on £80,000 a week before he signed his new two year contract last year, he said his wages likely recieved a small increased therefore £85,000 is a safe bet.
I'm still not sure where he came with those figures from though ? I would have thought Rosicky would be more likely to be on £50k - £60k than £85k
Personally it's not him I trust, it's Jamie. If Jamie say's he's on £80k+ then that's what I'm going to believe. Same, that's what I'd always believed to. But then again we do have a history of overpaying average players....
More talk about Jovetic today. Here he is 11 days ago for Fiorentina 4-1 Inter. He assisted the 1st, scored the 2nd and 3rd:
We are being linked with Ashely Williams in the Guardian today. Good player, and also seems like a leader. Would take him in a heart beat.
I'm not so sure fella. I think we're lacking leaders at the back and Ashley Williams could provide that. I've been a big fan of Vermaelen since he came to Arsenal, but this season he has looked like a headless chicken at times. The goals we conceded against the spuds were an abomination as far as defensive leadership and communication goes - and as far as him being our Captian, I think he lacks the necessary leadership skills to do so. For me Wilshere is the only player out there (Podolski too) who is trying to rally the troops.
Recent history suggests a trend of selling whoever wears the armband. I see no good reason why this should not continue!
I agree he should stay. On a side note, is there a reason why he isn't playing? He was one of our best players last season and he hasn't been benched for most of this season.
The only plausible explanation is that Wenger is sexually attracted to Ramsey and is lavishing favours on him. I for one think that he should keep his personal life and his professional life separate.
Hahhaha. I find it quite bemusing. He is one of our best, ball possessing midfielders and we don't play him?
