The Belgian paper Het Nieuwsblad is reporting that Igor De Camargo is having a medical with us.

Belgian papers are now reporting that he has gone to Hoffenheim on a 2.5 year contract -

"Certainly, contacts were established with Everton and Fulham, but Hoffenheim will engage the services of the Red Devil.

Igor De Camargo, who must pass the physical tests Tuesday night use, will sign a contract of 2.5 years. He had lost his place in Mönchengladbach, who had left the door open to a permanent transfer."

Apparently we were only offering a loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer.

Italian papers are reporting that Urby Emanuelson, the 26 year old attacking midfielder from AC Milan, is on his way to London for a medical.

Jol will know him from their Ajax days. He's valued at around £9m but the reports say it would be a loan deal to the end of the season.

PS Not surprisingly Mino Raiola is in the mix, although (I think) Brian Berkleef is Emanuelson's rep.

Italian papers are reporting that Urby Emanuelson, the 26 year old attacking midfielder from AC Milan, is on his way to London for a medical.
Emanuelson posted on his twitter account: "A strange day.. Leaving Milano for London.. Tomorow we know more.. Goodnight everyone.."

So I guess we will see tomorrow!

For reference, Emanuelson started his career as a left back before being moved to left midfield by Jol. He has been playing as an attacking midfielder with Milan. He wears 28, which I believe is a free number for us.

Some more classic Redknapp:

:*"We have a value for Peter Odemwingie but at the end of the day he belongs to West Brom. If they don't want to sell him they don't have to, it's not been handled the best to be honest."Crouchy's played for me everywhere hasn't he? But it's up to Stoke."

You couldn't make it up.

Hahahahaha. Classic Twitchy. Basically stops short of saying 'I want Odemwingie, but WBA won't ****ing budge. How dare they? Whatcha gonna do? The lads already helped us by handing in a transfer request, but they still said no. The cheek.'

It's on the sky sports timeline that Emanuelson has claimed he is joining us.

Where do you see him being played?
Left back or left wing?

Another of Harry's comments, referring to Odemwingie, is such a classic :

"It’s a difficult situation for West Brom. The whole situation has been a bit too public, but that’s not our doing,” said Redknapp.

Fulham make £5m bid for Spurs midfielder Huddlestone

They may be open to a sale having secured Lewis Holtby on an earlier transfer. Spurs may want more than £5m, but I think that is about his market value. Tremendous potential (and a great fit for Fulham) but also some pretty serious injuries. Risk/reward.

I really like Huddlestone, if he can get his injuries sorted he'd be immense and, like you say Surly, a great fit. Especially as Jol was the one who signed him for Spurs, so he knows him well. We'd probably have to pay over the odds but it's about time we spent a bit of dough!

Yeap if we want some quality we have to pay for it... Quality lasts and is cheaper in the long term (if you consider agent fees and other overheads).

Loads of reports coming in about Emanuelson coming (even from The Daily Mail, C58! :) ), so it looks pretty certain.

Probably quering his dual nationality! Anyway he's on his way here for sure -

With him, Dench and (hopefully) Huddlestone, I reckon the Boateng deal has disappeared.
