The Belgian paper Het Nieuwsblad is reporting that Igor De Camargo is having a medical with us. http://www.nieuwsblad.be/sportwereld/cnt/DMF20130128_047 please log in to view this image The 29 year old Brazilian (although he also has Belgian nationality) forward currently plays for Borussia Moenchengladbach and is valued around £2m. He hasn't been playing for them recently and earlier reports expected him to go to Standard Liege.
Au contraire Bidley. I'm over the moon when we are linked with younger quality players like M'Vila, Butland, Forren etc, but this guy's goal-scoring record is poor at best. Two goals this year, same as Rodallega, who's had far less starts. We start signing 29/30 year old players and they will be here for a year tops. If we're going to go for a striker in his late 20's why take the risk on someone from a foreign league when Bent is available? I don't think this has been mentioned yet, but a Fulham fan tweeted Malanda (Belgian 19 year old) if he was coming to Fulham in the transfer window, and his response was 'Maybe I will come' This is his official account by the way. Midfielder, and young. These are the types of signings we need to be making. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...r-latest--5m-Junior-Malanda-bid-launched.html
it would be nice if someone came in, i met alistair macintosh on saturday he did not say to much, but midfield was our priority
He's going to West Ham on loan. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/8451290/Transfer-news-Emanuel-Pogatetz-makes-return-to-England-on-loan-with-West-Ham
I see Samba wants away, and QPR are reported to be sniffing around. I know he would not come cheap but,if he could be our only buy, I feel he could do the job for us. And we would not have to keep swilling about in the bargain basement bucket. SENARIO. Brede to QPR 5m, Samba what 10m.~ ~ ~ "dream on".
Time is dragging on but we're in for Camargo and the young lad Malanda. I'd be happy with this as long as they both start ASAP. Big fella upfront for Berbs to put through and a 19 year old who plays in midfield or centre back to help shore things up. Am I being too positive?
Hoy, I got shouted down for suggesting that twice; once in the last window and once in this. So, what the heck, in for a for a penny, in for a whatsit ... Gary Hooper! Might as well spend MAF's money.
Various reports around that we have rejected two approaches from QPR for Brede Hangeland and that Harry is now turning his attention to Olsson and Samba. On BBC Harry has also again been at the 'tappping' game. This time it's Crouch (now there's a surprise) and apparently with James Mackie (who we are allegedly interested in) in part exchange.
Not sure if this has been posted, but apparently we're in pole position to sign Joras Okore http://www.caughtoffside.com/2013/0...helsea-manchester-united-to-defender-signing/
