I saw alot of Brunt earlier in his career at Sheffield Wednesday and he was a highly talented but somewhat lazy player capable of producing a moment of magic or more likely disappearing in tough games. Of course he has improved since then, but I'm not sure he's really what we need at all to be honest.
Funny Money! As Bandit said, there's no way we could match this - "The French International has penned a four and a half year contract with Rubin and moves for a fee of around £10 million. His new contract is set to earn him around £3.75 million a year after tax, which is a massive increase on what he is earning currently in France." todays gossip says that Birmingham are willing to drop their asking price forJB their goalkeeper, and state he could leave now without a untill summer loan clause. Also Blackburn are willing to take offers for Scott Dann, both I feel would be in our price range.
Have you heard we're signing a player called Young Suk? Damn shame you's never signed him, I could have had a field day #Statue
Don't think we will hit the bottle over that one just yet. If he is so fan-dabby-dosie as that deluded Korean fan says, how come he only has ONE cap for the National team, which is utter pony.
I don't know Bandy baby, but he has had some big clubs look at him though , so he might be more than a shirt seller! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...7/Manchester-City-consider-Yun-Suk-Young.html
Stekelenburg played for Roma last night in their 2-1 win over Inter Milan. Looks like he's settled his issues with them, and will be staying put (at least for now). http://www.sbnation.com/soccer/2013/1/23/3908002/roma-vs-inter-milan-2013-coppa-italia-final-score-match-report
Looks like he's going to Newcastle for £1.8m. We really should have been in there. http://www.tfc.info/news/1159993/mercato-moussa-sissoko-à -newcastle PS Boateng didn't play for Ghana in their ACON match today.
Classic Fulham ****ing about as usual. Look at the way Newcastle do business. Got their £8m for Ba and have already secured the signings of 4-5 players with that money for minimal fees. We have been faffing about since Xmas for Stekelenberg. Is it a problem with agents? We also dithered for too long for that Greek guy that chose Roma over us, and the unfortunately named Suk-Yung, who we apparently wanted to have a trial with us, while other clubs jumped in at our hesitancy.
We are being linked with Emmanuel âMad Dogâ Pogatetz a 31 year Old CB with Wolsburg. He got the nickname for being a tad aggressive and when at Middlesborough, had a wee head-to-head with Mladen Petric : "The Austrian full-back broke his nose and cheekbone in an accidental clash with Basle's Mladen Petric in last week's Uefa Cup quarter-final win." please log in to view this image Source: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1310991?cc=5739
I think its due to the agent fees. Why pay £1.8m and another £2m in agent fees? Newcastle a Have been mugged. They also can pay higher wages.
BBC today: Tottenham are considering meeting West Ham's £3.5m release clause for Mohamed Diame to beat Arsenal, Everton and Fulham to the 25-year-old midfielder. (the Guardian)
