Looks like Liverpool have Coutinho wrapped up. Don't think we were ever seriously in for him personally, and we've already got Lallana and Ramirez so difficult to see where he'd fit in.

Don't really believe that. I think we may have moved on some time ago.
Coutinho doesn't want to come here (apparently)...I don't think we went in as high as 10.2 million.
Walter Pandiani was a pretty good striker. Perhaps not at Birmingham, but certainly at Deportivo and Osasuna. Zárate was 20 at the time.
There was. He's very talented. But I think there's also a reason he's been frozen out and they can't wait to get rid of him. He will want high wages if he comes to us as well, that's one reason Lazio has to sell him cheap.
I think I've heard that he's a bit of a prick, but I might be making that up.
Zarate was brilliant for Birmingham, and had been for Lazio when I'd seen him which admittedly isn't this season. Someone, may have been Beefy, pointed out how he's been cack lately hence they're trying to shift him.
