Great leader, very good defender - in the Championship.

But he's to slow, and is not good enough for the Prem - same as Wayne Brown.

Not a replacement for Samba or Dann, just a stop-gap to get them back up.

I think we're having another go at agreeing a deal for Vito.

Sorted. I would be well happy if we could agree a deal, but to balance it out with bad news.

We have Steve Bruce on #hcafc goalkeeping situation & reports of offers for Robert Koren tomorrow at 0625, 0725 & 0825 on @RadioHumberside.

Was a great player for us. Wished we could have got him or Ayala last year.

We did end up with Hobbs and Chester however which is still brilliant.

Bit more french fellas

How is living in Liverpool a plus?

All his family live around that area for starters.

Indeed. No surprise at all really, is it ? ;) <whistle>

What bad news. Steve Bruce from his own mouth has said no firm bids for anyone and he wont be selling his best players anyway. He also added that he wants to add to what we have not destroy it. No bad news as far as i am concerned. Its all good news so far. Even Ian Wright is blabbing about Heskey being a Tiger now.

I hope so. OK it will cost us but lets build from the back.
I liked seeing him in goal.

£500,000 - £1m for Vito is very good business. We never had a chance of Brad Guzan after Paul Lambert got the Villa job anyway. I also tend to think that both GK positions are about sorted behind the scenes. Though TWT.

Looks like a player revolt is going on at Watford after the sacking of Sean Dysch. Keep your eyes on that one.

Steven Fletcher has had a £10m price tag put on him By Wolverhampton. About right,, imo.

To be fair Tickler I posted that last night before I'd heard the updates and from the tweet it sounded like there had been a bid. But thankfully there hasn't.

Indeed. Also some of the player tweets this week have been very good towards Steve Bruce. I shall even buy a copy of the fail today as ive been told some good quotes from the lads. Chester especially.

I dont know about you but i am getting sick and tired of the local media not being upto date. One other thing about why Heskey may not be made official yet ? He has an extended break as the PL and Villa finished 2 weeks later than we did. (13th may). So it could be a part of the deal ? who knows for sure.

One other quirk of fate. Heskeys last game for Aston Villa was @ Norwich City on the 13th May 2012 and our first home game is against...Norwich City on the 7th August 2012. :emoticon-0103-cool:

So you think Heskey's a done deal?
