Who knows for sure. Thats a private matter. But the person who told me said it was around £12-15k a week with add-ons. Maybe a house rent free as part of the deal.
Sky Sports Italy is reporting that Watford's new owners have sacked Sean Dyche and replaced him with Gianfranco Zola.
Yes. I posted something similar in the ""who will get sacked first thread"" yesterday. New owners = New manager. Forest and TWS could be next to do the same.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/7858947/Futacs-set-for-Pompey-exit He's 6 foot 5 apparently (thank you wiki). If the Heskey deal doesnt go through or even if it does, he'd be a useful addition to the squad in my opinion. Only 22 and looks to have a fair bit of potential. On a free as well. 5 goals in 29 league games so he's not prolific granted, but he'd cause teams problems and that was a in a struggling Pompey side.
Wasn't he on 60 k a week at Villa? Not that I'm doubting you Tickler, but that's a pretty dramatic reduction.
Heskey was on £62k a week, so a good deal for us. McGregor was on £25k at Rangers, so would have to drop if he joined. Would prefer Guzan and Mannone though.
I've read over 60 papers back-to-front including Desi Xpress and Farmers Weekly, and still nothing on Heskey going to Sunderland. Proud? Oh no, of course, you didn't specify which morning, silly me.
More Paper Talk. Hull apparently showing interest in Paddy Kenny. http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/clubs-show-interest8-as-kenny-waits-for94-future-to-be-resolved/?
Oh I remember the QPR away game not this season past but the one before... Such banter to Kenny, such a good day, such a face like a slapped arse. If he goes to Leeds, we should take a chance on Lonergan IMO.
Nick Proschwitz. Wiki suggests joint top scorer in Bundesliga last year with 17 from 33 for SC Paderborn. Daily Mail - Hull chasing Nick Proschwitz
He was. But i dont think that Heskey can command anything like that now. If the details of his Hull deal are anything like then it not that bad and who knows how much the add-ons are worth to Heskey ? Mayb e a nice promotion bonus.? Very good business. Sometimes players will take less money to play for a manager they like and trust. Heskey can make a name for himself again at Hull City and a hero. I never said i translated it word for word. The original poster asked if it actually meant Ghilas was going. It does but not in so many words. But in a nutshell as i posted. May that clarify any further confusion in your muddled mind. You shall have to read through many many more papers and maybe never to read about Heskey signing for Sunderland. Proud was wum-ming again. Now this would be an interesting signing if it happens. Hmmmmmm......
Missing pre season training because of his injury caught up with him, he has speed and i so enough in him to believe he will come good again, lets not forget he is only a young lad, yes he did go off without a doubt but with his ability and has long has he is mentally strong then he will come back the good player we so in the early days
Indeed he can by the look of it. Would be nice to keep a Nick in the squad should he sign here. How long before some city wags sorry fans start chanting "There's only one Prosy ?". We could chant ""One Nicky Prosy - there's only one Nicky Prosy"" oh dear.
