Before the deals done I've got to say that reading many of the comments on here it's true to say that a fair number of fellow supporters are deluded and unappreciative of a very generous owner. Firstly all this bollocks about the Allems having an alteria motive of demolishing the KC to build cheap houses in a ****e part of town! How idiotic that theory is after they had ploughed in £50m of their cash/debt to save the club! This latest news should, even for the dimist supporter highlight the fact that these people really have ambition, tempered by good business sense! Whow what a refreshing change eh! So, I'm hoping a recognised, high (possibly the highest ever) profile manager accepts the challenge to alter the mindset of a blinkered set of supporters! I'll support him and the Allams! God, Alah or whoever your god his, I hope Mr Bruce accepts our offer and proves a success! Dave Whelans no fool and he speaks very highly of SB, so should we
City Independent website claim he's agreed a 3 and a half years deal. Announcement due Thursday, press conference at the KC on Friday. They also claim Turner and Campbell are 'coming back'. The future's bright!
Mike White/Mat Dean are quite touchy about Burnsy...allegedly ..and so I don't get JulesKaren on my back...Steve Bruce will do and probably do good for us! I hope this is definitely going to happen though!
These threads are getting boring now, anti-allam, pro-allam, people have made their minds up so theres no need to keep droning on about it. Looking forward to the new manager coming and some positivity instead of reading the same old boring ****e on here
I think it was Liverpools Chief Exec who said Dave Whelan is a fool (idiot, someting like that) - so who do we believe? Perhaps we can call on the deep wisdom of that great seer, Peter Benett to guide us all! Then again, Gordon might be a better option.
I could see Turner coming back, but Campbell? I wouldn't mind if he did come back but I can't see it!
My original comment said "don't say Nick Barmby", but I got rid. The question I really want to pose is "Who would you rather have had as a Barmby replacement?" Rather than 70% of people relating back to our old situation.
Not the biggest fan of Bruce by a long way, always thought that at Sunderland he over spent on a team that under performed, but if he is to be our next manager then he has my full support and will judge him on what he does for us
Turner could happen (happy with Chester and Hobbs though, and Cooper is good back-up, not sure why Turner would want to sit on the bench in the Championship). Can't see Campbell after he was getting rave reviews earlier this season.
Carries niggling injuries these days - Bruce will see the 'short' falls of our squad; Hobbit alert for incoming players! Oh dear OLM, time to get over it methinks! It will be interesting to see the next moves of NB and AP - it might surprise a few by being a sum total of FA.
Don't like Bruce at all, he's a boring alcoholic Bernard Cribbins lookalike. I'd expect him to do a decent job though, still don't understand why Barmby got the boot though and until I do I don't think I'll be able to get excited about any new manager
Ah the outing of the deluded and fighting amongst ourselves- what city fans do the best. No wonder we never win owt.
It's not going to surprise me Fezzy. I said all along they'd say nowt because they are most certainly not blameless in any of this. Luckily the fanboys made sure that if nothings said, it's because of ( ) Lawyers ( ) The sake of the Club Delete as required
