not doubting what people say but I see nothing anywere that states any of this has happened, but I dont live in the area so can anyone let me know where this info is coming from other than this board?

So it looks like our saviours have revealed their true colours. They wanted the club so they could get the ground and the land around it on the cheap.

Is that the clanging sound of pennies dropping I hear? You may not believe me but for once I take no pleasure in being right (anyone care to dig up the heated conversation from a couple of weeks ago?)

As for the Nick 'sacking' the writing was on the wall the minute the Allams issued their own statement rather than anything from the club. They saw his comments to press as a personal slight on their reputation.

So the obvious question now is, does Adam have enough to buy the club back? Otherwise I can see Paul Duffen and Peter Ridsdale riding over the sunset.....

Just my thoughts but.... The Allams paid off £50m of debt with the underlying motive of getting hold of the club and KC Stadium and making their money back via the Sports Village. I can live with that - we should always be grateful for the debt clearance.

But when they didn't get their way with the council they lost all interest in the club, threw their toys out of the pram and refused any more funds. Culminating in today's apparent decision to put the club up for sale, if true. Thus showing they've never really had the club's true interests at heart.

Suspending Barmby though is utterly shocking and that I think is the point where the line will be crossed with most fans. Ridiculous decision if it is the case.

Purely as a business decision, it would have made far more sense to spend a couple of million in January and try and get promoted, even if they wanted out, they'll be lucky to sell the club for half what they paid for it without promotion.

Selling FC would be a good start!

The problem is, that Allam might be the one who wants to buy FC (and take them to Craven Park).

Although that is good for City fans - Pearson might have a (somewhat moral) problem with that.

So this was supposed to be a gift for the ppl of Hull.
"Putting something back " Allam said saying thank you for Hull making him welcome.
As soon as it does not suit , sell it , buy the Robins.
Hull City Council, was right then not to sell.

Come now OLM, surely we're worth 50p?

All of a sudden I'm worried that the £51m wasnt a pure donation to the club and somewhere, somehow with clever accounting it was essentially a 'loan' and the club 'owe' that money to the Allams and if we dont pay it we'll be wound up.

Anyone think that's honestly too far fetched.....?

No. I wouldn't be the least surprised.

Something doesn't add up here. It's like successful businessmen have made a terrible business decision. What is the value of HCFC at the moment? £10-£15m???? Are the Allams intending on throwing away £40m. As Lambo says, the sensible decision, if they want out, would be to build and get us into the Premiership and then sell it off.

I am totally disgusted with this decision.

Never before have I been so shocked in football. I'll wait and see what's confirmed but I'm honestly not renewing my season ticket if this is all true.

Holy fu(king sh`t. All i can hope is that some nutter with more money than sense is coming in for a bid....otherwise can't see this ending well. I share other concerns people have raised re clever accounting meaning that the debt clearance is owed back, in which case, ahhhh fu(k.

What's the worst that could happen? We'll reform as AFC City Hull in the North East Counties League Division 2 and spend a decade climbing back to League 2. It'd probably be far less stressful than going through this ownership/financial debacle every few years. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Burnsy and Phil Buckingham both said prior to the Forest game that they had a feel that both Barmby and Pearson wouldn't be at the club come the start of the season

They're about £2million off a £60 million bit of prize money, what Barmby was saying is just logical.

Completely agree. I've just got back from Leeds to find this... what an absolute total cock up. Not tooting my own horn here but there was always something fishy about the Allam's to me; spending money outside of the club but not investing anything in players!

Quote Nicky quote... ""We know we've got the basis of an exciting team but we've got to keep it going now. We all want the same goal, for Hull City to be successful." Obviously the owners didn't think so :/. Sad sad day.
