Still a chance there is no comment because somebody (AP) is trying to save the situation. If its true the club is up for sale. The Allam's won't be able to sell the club for what they've spent. Perhaps someone could come in who has the extra 2-3mil needed for a real push. My main concern is the players. Barmby needs to stay. Joyce is the only option which would keep the team together (imo). But who would want to come here after what has just gone on.
It's definitely true, Nick's effectively been sacked, he's absolutely distraught and completely and utterly disgusted. It's terrible PR to make no statement on a story as big as this, maybe they hope they can kiss and make up overnight, or maybe our owner is just ****ing bonkers.
Looks like the next stage and phase of Adam Pearsons cunning plan has spring into action. Watch this space......
Whatever else is going on This action just proves that Ehab Allam does not have a clue. Is Assem aware or Not ? Its a deja vue case of when the Needlers were in charge. The Late Harold Needler with Hull City running through his veins Dies and leaves son Christopher Needer to run the club. Problem was that Chris hated it and wanted out but his dada will was set in stone. I am glad this is now out and we can all see what Ehab Allem actually is. Better now than a few weeks down the road. I expect Ehab Allam to be next to go one way or another. Another strong rumour is that the club is now up for SALE.
I knew it was going to go tits up when he started referring to himself as Dr Allam and running down kids in his Roller - allegedly.
I know it wont happen but if the Allams investment was a "gift to the city" why dont they give the club to a supporters trust, and let the fans run the club
Complete idiot. He's not going to be too welcome in Hull anymore is he. He'll have to find a new city to build his squash courts..
I'd go with the latter. Feel sorry for the man, he's Hull City through and through and he's echoing exactly what the fans want; so for the Allam's to do this is just disgusting. They don't care about us, the club, the city or anything but their wealth. GIFT... what sodding gift?! The gift of being hypocrites when they say they're saving the club when they've effectively sacked the most popular and passionate manager we've ever had. So who'll be the first to go: Koren, Fryatt, Chester? Sod the play offs... unless we find money, League One it is :/.
Ive always had this feeling that Nicks comments to the press where carefully scripted but not by himself. Imo, Adam has been behind this for a while and it smacks of a carefully planned "Ku De Ta" as i never thought Nick would say what he has without proper guidence from allies. Managerial Brio at its best. This leaves the Allams out on there own, well Ehab for certain.
I agree the 95% of fans are behind Nick, we should show this. About 17,000 or so people are free on Saturday at 3pm. If this is all what it seems maybe we should do something. Protest at the ground?
We've all said our bit when it comes to negativity - anyone finding a bright side? Any possibility of a quick-fire sale and Barmby re-instated? Doing what they've done to any manager would have been bad, but they've really blown it by banishing a club legend. I can't imagine one person in all of Hull taking the Allams side now.
I stand to be corrected but as far as I know if you buy a loss making company then you take on the previous losses and they can be set against tax. Not sure what the losses were previously but I can hazard a guess that it was a good deal for the allems when they "invested" in City if this is considered, especially as thet will get more than they paid for the club!
