Bugger me, I come out of a meeting and this has happened...

Agree with most of what's been posted on here (except the Ku de ta <doh>) - deepest sympathies for nick and greatest concerns what this means for our club.

Leeds fan in peace.

Sorry to hear your woes, guys. We've got our own tyrant, so know how you feel. Chin up!

Hope it turns out ok for you so we can guarantee 6 points towards our promotion tally.

Well I'm not getting too worried until something official has been released. It's not that I don't trust you OLM (as I know from other boards you aren't often wrong) But we know how quickly rumours can spiral. However my thoughts are
If They have sacked NB then it seems daft, And surely in this world when an average employer can't sack anyone without giving them 3 warnings, several tribunals, and a few court cases, Barmby has a case for unfair dismissal.
I think it's a shame because I liked what Barmby was trying to do, However at times his naivity and inexperiance where there for everyone too see, But thats not his fault.
If indeed the club is up for sale then this could be crucial, IMO the club now is at it's most attractive to investors, Young promising squad, debt free etc. But I still think the club will struggle to attract the size of investment some fans seem to want. I've always thought the Allams were doing a decent job they put £50million odd in to save the club, They invested 'steadily' in players, and seemed to be running the club sensibly. (Afterall none of us wanted another Duffman) However in January it became apparent they weren't willing to spend and IMO between them and NB cost us any chance we had of promotion.
According to Burnsy on twitter there is a statement due shortly from the allams.
One way or another there is more to this than meets the eye.

It's definitely true, Nick's effectively been sacked, he's absolutely distraught and completely and utterly disgusted.

It's terrible PR to make no statement on a story as big as this, maybe they hope they can kiss and make up overnight, or maybe our owner is just ****ing bonkers.

or maybe our owner is just ****ing bonkers.[/ I would agree with that

The best solution if they really want to pull out is secure a take-over as soon as possible, the new owners re-instate Nick & so that may halt an exodus.. we can only hope this is what happens..

if you can't say things like NB has said, then your're better not working for the Allams. I was always certain NB was "testing their hand" when saying those things.. he kept shtum in January and covered up when insisting he didn't need any new additions but enough is enough.

Nothing changes player wise. Contracts run out at the end of June for some and the players we want to keep are already under contract. Its only 30th April, ffs. Nobody can or will leave for the time being at least. The players will like us watch - wait and see. Knowing what Ehab is like this is good news in the long run. imo.

I don't even think the 51mil Assem give us was OUR money, it was just a loan, then obviously he wants the club to pay him back which they won't be able too, administration looms over us next season, were going to end up like Pompey, 10 points deducted then lose Koren, Chester, Rosy, Fryatt and the rest, for ****s sake our club is tainted!

That's the spirit.

He's not going to admin a business where he owns all the assets, not unless he wants to half what those assets are worth.

Wow, **** me sideways.

Hard to fault them for literally saving us.

At least, as far as I can work out, they cant totally **** us over, its not like they can bail and leave us in crippling debt and destroy us as a club.

It just defies all logic, its not like they can leave the area and if this is true...they''ll need more security at his city based businesses surely, not to mention any future investment chances will elude him.

Its never been easy in 46 years supporting the Tigers but there always seems to be something to surprise me, just after I think theres nothing left to surprise me!

Am i correct is saying Barmby only said the squad needed strengthening in the summer. If he did that is absolutely stupid

I hope for the good of football Barmby sues your owners for unfair dismissal

What apparently was deemed a stackable offence:

When it comes to Ehab nothing should surprise you. But better this happens now than in a few weeks time. imo.
What is wrong with you man?
Going on about it all being Ehab's idea and AP manipulating NB for a "Ku de ta." This is serious news not an excuse for you to vent your wild delusions.
If you don't have anything sensible to say shut the f*** up!

They are businessmen. They wanted to buy the stadium and the land and knew owning us would put them in the best position to do so. As soon as they knew it wouldn't be straightforward they wanted an opportunity to back out. That's what they'll be hoping to do this summer.

Barmby is just unfortunate in that they wanted to save face and anybody questioning their intentions with regards spending more money would struggle to stay.
