I do. Very dry and tongue firmly in cheek.@Ubedizzytoo has a mischievous sense of humour.
I think DA for many, many years talked beautifully about nature and the destruction that humans do and I totally agree with his sentiments on those issues. No arguments from me.
I think in more recent years he has become much more outspoken on climate change issues and he has certainly spoken a lot about it, very much supporting the idea that it is an emergency or crisis. I guess as someone who accepts climate change, but doesn’t see it as an emergency or a crisis in the way that he and others do, that’s where our differences are. As we’ve all pretty much come to agree on here, the facts are incontrovertible, it’s just the inevitability of the future predictions that we differ on I think.
The polar bear issue has been rammed down people’s throats for years so when we now find that polar bears are actually thriving as a result of the warming planet, instead of dieing out as predicted, I can’t resist a little teasing. Not saying that means it’s a hoax at all (and I literally have never said that) just that the doom laden predictions are basically just guesses and can easily be wrong (as in the case so well highlighted by my chubby Ursid friends).
