Agreed, given our current predicament it seems like a no brainer to me. At worst he’ll be as effective as Burstow and potentially he will be a decent option at this level.

All the while Burstow might grab 6-7 goals and we can reclaim 400k of the 2m we spent

There are worse outcomes than Burstow and we've seen it from other Premier League loanees in recent years. Oulad-M'Hand or Harvey Vale for example.

Williams is a good player and can play both left and right back. Main concern is off the pitch antics. Also would probably want decent wages and I’m not sure we need to invest heavily in fullbacks given our current predicament

He can't sell without walking away from about 65 million.

He simply can't afford to sell the club in it's current state. It's not worth what he's invested.
