Got what we needed today. It wasn't always pretty and to en extent we rode our luck again, but to be fair to them it was a much improved performance over recent games and we could have genuinely netted multiple goals. We should have been playing like that more often, but hopefully lessons learned.

Next season we NEED to start defending set pieces better.

As for transfers I stand by what I've said all along. We need stability next season. Preferably minimal outgoings and just a few key incomings - mainly a left back, a right back and at least one striker who can finish. The players we've got returning will be like new signings anyways. Belloumi, Millar, Matazo and Zambrano in the same side together makes this an entirely more capable team.

He will come on, come in with the team under a lot of pressure, runs all day works at the on the wing and back and front be stupid to let him go.

My uncle keeps saying that too. I’m not impressed tbh, I think we’ve spunked money, but hope I’m wrong and you’re right.

Less loans for me too. While they can be helpful, we lose them the next season and that’s counter-productive I think

I know the defence take some stick but only 7 teams have lower numbers of goals against but nobody has scored less goals than City, so the defence are that valuable extra that kept us up.

Congratulations from Texas, lads. Regardless of the season's travails which led to the final day predicament, the Tigers did what was necessary to keep Championship football at Hull next season. I'll drink to that. Well, perhaps later in the morning when the missus wakes up We drove to Houston last night and got to bed about 2am. I had to get up for a 6:30am kickoff.

I’m a Blue Jay, don’t like the Cards , but I appreciate your thumbnail

That's partly true, but I think Pandur keeps us in it more than the back line to be honest. Also, I largely point my finger at the defence for our lack of attacking threat. They just don't progress the ball like other teams do. We need upgrades desperately in both wide back positions.
