The only player I'd really be arsed about us selling is Hughes. He will be worth more in the future and we will lose out if we have to sell him this year.

Others that we've paid fees for like Kamara (and others) would be a worry if we sell them at a loss or have to loan them out, but I won't lose any sleep over them from a footballing perspective.

And then there are some that we could really do to shift to give us some breathing space, but I suspect we'd struggle to.

Whilst we've talked for a while about needing stop the constant rebuilds, I think we are where we are and it'll be difficult to avoid another one this summer. I don't think we can compete at the top end again without reshaping the squad again this summer. There's plenty of quality but too little of certain qualities and too many players who have quality but aren't effective.

I can still see Alzate, Hughes, Pandur and Kamara going. Some others too. The important thing is we survived relegation.
Not sure about Pandur, yes he had a good season but I am not sure enough for buyers and GK market usually more stale. Agreed with others though, but not expecting big offers like KLP and Greaves.

Since Warren Joyce got together a bunch of battlers to keep city in the football league we have had the following

6 promotions
4 trips to Wembley
1 stab at Europe
5 years in the prem

This game was massive. We have earned the right to be Championship and from there things happen.

Best league

Well done City and the Suffering fans have had this year.

We go through some bloody hard days following City but when it’s comes right we know how good it can be.

I honestly don’t remember a season as unpleasant as this one since our Div 3 days.

The last Championship relegation at least had a decent first half. This has been crap all the way through.

I quite like Puerta too to be honest. Think he’s already capable and with a better team around him would look even better.

After the Derby game and going into todays match as favourites to go down then what a relief, Championship again next season yet it could have-been so different. Doesn't Matter now though it’s over and my poor heart is slowly getting back to normal. Unfortunately my liver which thought it was getting a night off is definitely going to be working overtime. Well done to all those who made such a long distance, they must have helped the players so much. Enjoy your night everyone
Me & mrs are already on the pop jb!

I guess I’m a bit more sympathetic to the players than I was months ago. Some of them definitely won’t be here next season. A lot of them, including Coyle, looked sheepish going over to the fans, almost like he felt celebrating was inappropriate. A few of them looked like that. Kamara didn’t even go over and was talking with Portsmouth players.

It feels bittersweet in a way. We survived but it’s been a really unpleasant season for supporters and players alike and some of them probably have mixed emotions right now.
Kamara was asking his ex-teammates how much cash there was in the brown envelopes they were given before the match !

Moving swiftly on - only one more place up for grabs in the Championship next season - either Stockport, Wycombe, Charlton or Orient - any preference - prefer Stockport myself

Watched the game from a hotel lobby in Nashville, some locals took an interest and watched along with me.

There’s only one thing worse than being on the brink of relegation in the last game of the season and that’s having to explain what relegation is and why it’s bad to some Americans whilst it’s happening!
