I agree. Letting Longman go before we have a replacement is idiotic. He's clearly the best lw we have available

We brought in Gelhardt though who played wide left when he came on against Millwall, so we've already got a wide player in.

He can go, Lincoln is done and Thomas or Barry will be coming in as well.

Selles has already said Gelhardt can play across all 3 attacking positions, Lincoln can play there, Vaughan at a push can play there. Longman isn't going to play so can go.

I’m not convinced that Geldhart or lincoln will offer more than Longman on the LW anyway. Hopefully one of them is quality.

Well whatever, surely we're not letting Longman go before we have a replacement in...

Geldhart is here to play wide. Amrabat is here to play wide, Selles sees Joseph as able to play wide and Lincoln is coming in also.

How many replacements do.you want?

Not to mention that there's Burstow who's been keeping Longman out anyway, and Kamara can play left as well.

It's hardly as if we can't put a side out.

I don't think that actually is the reason, Amin's just being Amin. Always surprised people take him so literally.

Nantes will be lining up a replacement and refusing to budge until that's all ratified as they're under no obligation to.

The article makes no sense.

We know who are targets are and whether they'd be perms of loans. So we know what we'd have to play with. We know we need cover at CB, even once Hughes returns so we'd either be set on keeping Burns for the season or we'd be looking at signing him/someone else as that cover for the rest of the season.

Or is that just far too sensible for a City transfer policy?

Clearly there's some big brain stuff going on that a simple mind like yours or mine can't understand. Transfers are very complex after all.

Reactions: Real ale tiger
Maybe im nitpicking a bit
But our signings so far

Crooks hasnt played for 2+ months
Gelhardt hadnt played for months
Lincoln hasnt played for a month and a half
Amrabat hasnt played for 2+ months

Crooks and lincoln are essentially in their pre season

We badly need thomas and joseph
In our side
Just some fully match fit regular game time players asap
