https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/othe...repares-for-unprecedented-strikes/ar-BB1lrSl5 Israel simulating strikes on Iran. Iran still reeling from this: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/03/world/middleeast/iran-explosion-qassim-suleimani-ceremony.html If this kicks off, our politicians will no doubt do everything in their power to drag us into a war that will kill our country, even though the citizenry do not want it. Exactly the same as mass immigration.
Isreal are wrong and should not be invading another country and killing innocent people. I still believe that innocent people should not be killed. On the other hand, the Palestinians are not all that innocent though. I don't agree with many of their beliefs, they way they treat women, the way they use children for gratification during ramadam Again, two wrongs don't make a right. They West wants to decrease the size of the Islamic state (followers of this are called Muslims), rightly or wrongly they believe the world would be better with people they belive, are more civilised and are willing to fight this holy war... You make your own mind up.
Israel are rightly determined to minimise the opportunity for a repeat of oct 7th .. as promised by hamas / Iran. Hamas hoped the Arab world rise up and support them by going to war against Israel. That's why the oct 7th atrocities were so vile and made so public. The Arab world knows what hamas / Iran are and are keeping out. Iran and its Hs are openly committed to the destruction of Israel... that's genocide. Israel cannot stop until that future is delayed for generations. The Hs hide behind civilians and always will. They know that face to face the IDF would destroy them short time. Free the hostages and Israel has less justification for their continued conflict That choice is entirely in the hands of hamas / Iran.
That's all great and all but it's incredibly one sided. People on the other side of the fence would say almost the exact same thing swapping names and all of a sudden you have two sides lobbing stones at each other from either side of said fence. It's not all black and white. Fault lies on both sides. Neither side has the right to kill the other though both call it defence.
I really didn't want it to come to this but ... ... I don't like Israel and I don't like the Jews. Of course I don't mean every single one but there's something quite sinister about all this.
Delaying the ceasefire vote is a proper ****s trick like, but that's what Netanyahu is. And he's a massive one at that. So I'm not surprised.
I can't say I have a single problem with the Jewish people other than the huge problem I have with Israel. That country has been a problem since it was forced into existence.
Don’t think Jews. Jews live all over. The Israel government are a vile disgrace mind and they are supported and voted for by far far too many Israeli people in their insidious slaughter. It isn’t just their prime minister. It’s a stain on their nation.
Incorrect. If by West you mean the civilisation than is lived out by the people everyday across the continent of Europe, it is not in our interest that Israel dominates the region with ruthless aggression as this directly leads to millions of people from said region seeking refugee status in Europe, this is exactly what is causing all of the problems across our continent, every Farage and AFD type scenario stems from this problem. It makes you think, what sort of middle eastern dynamic would in fact reverse the situation?
Yes I should've been clearer mate, I'm only talking about the Israelites. I understand their issues and anger but, whenever I see a spokesman, they're absolutely fanatical and unwilling to acknowledge the Palestinians as human beings. After what they endured you'd think they'd avoid behaving the same way to other people. I'm sure they'd be quite willing to exterminate every Palestinian if only the world would look the other way. I don't like the way the world is going, I've never felt so uneasy and disappointed with mankind.
I may have a simplistic view regarding this but surely securing the return of ALL the hostages should've been the main interest of the Israeli government not bombing the **** out of innocent people in Palestine where some of those may have been located 6
Mate I 100% agree. There are people on here the same about migrants mind. It feels like people have lost empathy for other people. People are people. Every one of us is ****e and brilliant. No skin colour culture or religion is all of anything. It’s terrible to hear the majority of Israeli people supporting what’s going on and dehumanising children as ‘future terrorists’. I’d also say they’ve made Israel less safe. It’s mental. I did some projects with these through work https://www.theforgivenessproject.com/ it’s this stuff that should be in the national curriculum
When I see people, including so-called politicians, making offhand comments about 'letting them drown' I despair. I don't want another illegal immigrant coming here but I'd also hate to be in a position where I'd feel forced to leave my homeland. Dragging yourself/wife/children halfway around the world, to a country where you will be hated and don't speak the language, must be horrendous. Heaven knows what they're escaping from, I can't imagine.
' First, I'll nail my colours to the mast. I support the Jewish Nation 100% BUT I detest this Israeli Government. And the root cause of the problem is of course Religion But this is stirred by their constitution which pretty much guarentees a 'hung Parliament; Currently I believe that there are 22 different pary's in the Knesset. The balance of power, in recent years has been in the hands of small Right Wing Religious Groups. Those who wouls like a PR system here take note of what can happen. And it is believed that unscroupulous Politicians have been known to cut deals in order to gain power. (IMAGINE THAT). Muhammad may have said that The Peoples of the BOOK should be Brothers but followers of Religeons have an unfortunate knack of picking out the quotes that suit. (And YESY, I admit that is what I have just done.)
Can you expand on this? My feeling is, Israel exists illegitimately and by force, it ejected the natives from their land, I'm not convinced they have a right to exist (provocative language admittedly).
