I didn't blame Israel for going into Gaza after the attack on the 7th October, but they have long since made their point and are going too far now.

What little support they do have is fading rapidly. They have to stop the bloodshed and pull out of Gaza ASAP
Problem is they’ve slowly but surely been going in (and taken and kept) so much of Palestine for more than 70 years with the unspoken approval/permission of the US & UK.
That it is almost impossible to critizise them now never mind force them to stop.
It is my sincere belief that the ‘West’ is guilty of attempted genocide by continually supplying lsrael with the military ability to commit this criminal act.

Couldn't agree more Noggie.

Israel is a terrorist apartheid state and unfortunately all this is second nature to them.

Israel has kidnapped 7,270 Palestinian hostages from the West Bank since 7th October and kept them without charging them with any crime ...

... oh, hang on a minute, these are Palestinians, not Israelis, I forgot, their lives count for less, I got the language wrong, so they have been "arrested" and are "prisoners". That's OK then.

I can't claim to be very knowledgeable about the politics of this brutal war.

I am a father and soon to be a grandfather and what I've seen happening to the poor children out there breaks my heart ❤️

How can the rest of the World just stand by and watch the murder of these defenceless innocent kids ?

Hamas must have known the consequences of their horrific attack on Oct 7th!
They knew Israel would respond massively.

Very true.

And Israel must have known that allowing fascist settlers to steal yet more Palestinian land on the occupied West Bank and brutalise the Palestinians combined with keeping Gazans in a concentration camp would lead, sooner or later, to some of their horrific brutality being meted out back to them.

I fall pretty firmly on the side of Palestine in all of this.

The terror attack was horrendous but it's a drop in the ocean of cruelty and violence in those parts since we meddled in it after World War 2.

It's only going to get worse while Israel continue to grab more land.

It's a really really weird outcome given the reason, or at least the events that lead to the state of Israel being formed.

Cruelty begets cruelty. The serpent devours its own tail.

Israel have normalised relations with the UAE and are looking at other Arab nations to do likewise. This will almost certainly stop and it will all be back to square one for them. Hard to understand the brutality of what Israel is doing to normal innocent people trying to go about their business. As Smug says, its simply just wrong

I have no sympathy for Palestine, brought it on themselves and probably only expected a minimal response, well their barbaric attack on Israel backfired dramatically and deservedly so.
All these marches and protests here in the UK shows we have millions of wolves in sheep’s clothing, if you want to stop the bombing in Palestine then get yourself over there to help your comrades, no good flying a Palestine flag in London or wherever you march it serves your homeland no good.

Your logic doesn’t appear to hold water - on so many levels.

Do you mean any attack anywhere upon anyone deserves a response of over 30 times greater?

And does your statement thus only legitimise the Hammas terror attack as it would be in response to murders committed by Israeli illegal settlers and even by the state itself.

And again Israeli terrorist murdered British soldiers should we have at that time murdered hundreds of innocent jewish living at that time in Palestine ?

My opinion just like you have yours. Israel’s response was to prevent any further like for like attacks by Hamas, they openly told the world what they were going to do with little response until they actually started carrying out what they promised. They said they were going to finish Hamas off and are currently doing that and I hope they complete their mission as quickly as possible.
I’m more concerned about the millions on our shore who clearly hold contempt for us and our way of life. Like I said before let them take their protests to the streets of Palestine or better still Israel and see how they get on.

It’s gone to far now the response, they knew the response would come hard whoever instigated the attack on oct 7, anyone been to Isreal ? It’s not a bad place a lot of your top company’s from all over the world are there, we foolishly or not took a bus ride to a local market raked about had a good day, a week after we got back there was suicide bomb on a bus on the route we’d travelled,we take lots for granted never even entered me mind to be more cautious
