Seen quite a few suggesting changing formation to fit our 4 CMs in, that isn't going to happen

RLB is all about team structure both in and out of possession, most of the team picks itself tomorrow for me and the only players that are up for a debate is who starts out of Mayenda, Rigg and Le Fee

It'll either be a 442 throughout or back to the 433 in possession that switches to a 442 out of possession

I would be going for 433 and I would probably give Rigg a start and have Mayenda and Le Fee on the bench

We should be playing players in their natural positions rather than fitting players into a system

Adil and Roberts both deserve to start, need to have them running at their fullbacks or dragging their fullbacks out to them. That'll give the AM and Jobe space to exploit between them and the CBs

Looking forward to it, actually feels like ages since we've played - Stoke was a game most of us weren't bothered about

Need midfield control they play 3 midfielders with a 10 so need the shape

With how they are playing and the lack of goals I wouldn't blame them. I know winning is all that really matters, but it must be soul destroying grinding out a 1-0 rather than showing a bit of flair

The thing is they've been doing that same dreary shyte for years, although Dyche managed to keep them up doing it.

Having gone up, only to come back down, they know they could lose out and become another Norwich.

I think we'll quieten their crowd tomorrow and outsing them all game ...

... I have to work tomorrow, big weekend here, otherwise I'd walk there.

Agreed Scout. The quality we now have gives us the ability to rotate and for RLB to trust the bench. A midfield 3 of Jobe, Dan and Enzo with Rigg and Samed on the bench is pretty exciting. And we are still looking to strengthen further in other departments…

Yeah, that us what I think he will do and what u would like him to do.
Le Fee can come on as a sub and his pace/movement can cause issues last 20-30 mins or so.

They are a deceent team but I think you have highligted our strength in depth on the bench. Most of them capable of changing a game to our advantage. Early start on the drink tomorrow so looking forward to it.

Games I have watched of theirs (only the TV games), they have absolutely shipped chances.

As Smug says, sooner or later they will have a day when the oppo has a glory day in front of goal.

Just had a look through stats for their last 5-6 games seems they ship average of around 9 shots per game.

I’d back us to convert a couple from that, and we are better than most of the oppo they have played, arguably all going forward.

Wilson is on screaming form; Mayenda will give anyone a nightmare, and Enzo will lift the whole side, fans in attendance the lot.

This is a real game to say we’ve gone from ‘surprise tail hanger’ to the top 3 to ‘we here you ****ers’.

Let’s ****ing do it.

Yeah - RLB trusts his man probably more than any of our other players

'Enzo, I know it's the second league in England and you'll have to live in the far North East but please come to Sunderland'

'OK chef, it's crazy but I'll do it for you.'

'Thanks Enzo, by the way I'm putting you on the bench behind a seventeen year old coming back from injury' <laugh>
