    Patterson
    Hume Mepham O'Nien Cirkin
    Le Fee Neil Jobe
    Roberts Isidor Aouchiche

Revert back to the 433. Don't want Brownhill, Cullen and whoever they play in the 10 to be able to dominate the midfield with a man advantage.

Will be nice to have the ability to bring on Mayenda and Rigg at some point, especially against tired legs if we need a moment of magic.

0-0 is my prediction. Tight game.

Thanks again RTB another belter, looking forward to this one we should have some fresh legs and with our new signing ready to hit the ground running I think we will get at least a point. They have a good defensive record but we have pace and power up front, they wont like Wilson running onto them with some really good ball playing midfielders lining them up for him, that midfield 3 looks great and although Rigg might be disappointed he looked a little out of sorts last week after his injury so a little breather will do him the world of good, let Dan, Jobe & Enzo run them ragged then bring our little magician on later on to finish them off !
Head says 1-1, heart says we win 2-1, always let my heart rule my head so 2-1 with a Wilson double.

I would prefer Roberts to come on against tired legs, he is so valuable in many ways , but not a quick starter imo.

I keep thinking if we have no idea how we will approach the game and who will play then the opposition will have trouble planning for us. RLB gives off such an of confidence that he will have us set up to cause them serious problems.

Maybe this will be the game it all clicks and we batter them

Could be mate, could be. They do not score many so there is always a chance , can we take it, of course we can . with Mundle and Isidor up front we know anything can happen. OaU

We did, should have be 2 or 3 up in the first half.
We sat back second half but they didn’t create much.

This would be my team as well

I wouldn't be against Rigg in for Le Fee - didn't think Rigg was good against Stoke but would have helped get rid of some rustiness

    Mine also

Think we’d be mad not to go 433 for this one

The interesting thing for me is where people are in the out-of-possession shape. Who are we expecting to join Isidor in the first two? Do we just drop ELF into that or do we change things and push Jobe forward (although personally I hope not)? I wonder if we may see Rigg play wide right and then we just allow him to continue in that role, with ELF sliding across one.

Parker making excuses for the loss, I’d have this on the dressing room wall personally, show him that it was because we were good and nothing to do with his team and his excuses (Sunderland echo):

Sunderland play Burnley at Turf Moor on Friday evening
Burnley manager Scott Parker has insisted that his side are in a “much better place” than they were when they last played Sunderland in the Championship.

The Clarets host the Black Cats at Turf Moor on Friday evening, and will be looking to make amends for the 1-0 defeat they suffered at the Stadium of Light back in August - a match that came in the midst of a period of widespread upheaval for Parker and his squad.
Speaking in a press conference, he said: “It's not even comparable where we currently are as a team and as a group compared to then. We were at the height of things, like I've mentioned before, which were pretty unprecedented at that moment in time. Things that probably weren’t out there in the open, but clearly we were in a bit of a state in that fixture.

“Where we've moved from, from that point to now, is not even comparable. A tough game again on Friday night like it was back then, but certainly I feel that we're in a better place. Certainly psychologically as a group we're in a much better place, and fundamentally probably in a much better place in terms of where we've come from and how we've developed along the way.”

They don't score many though. If Cannon is signed we could win and we would be the only undefeated team in the division at home and I think England

Thanks again for the thread RTB. Really looking forward to this one. Great test and expecting another excellent performance. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Enzo in the starting lineup. Burnley only conceded 9 goals all season, but think we will win this one 1-2.

    Saw this on Facebook

For anyone travelling to Burnley tomorrow the A59 is closed at Blubberhouses due to a landslip. Substantial diversions in operation via Pool,Otley and Ilkley.

    Someone replied :- A66, a685 down to Tebay, m6, m61 and m65 is always a quicker way.

I think its because Burnley are also undefeated so if we win we're the only ones left.
