“Where we've moved from, from that point to now, is not even comparable."

    <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

    FFS, the man is delusional.

They've scored ONE goal in their last three games with only FIVE efforts on target in almost FIVE hours of football ...

... even with my maths that works out at one shot an hour!!!

We've been saying for a while that some team will be battered. If we can score early their famous defence either turns to shyte, while they have to attack, or Parker keeps it tight and settles for 0-1 as he did at the SOL.

They laid down and died as badly as Oxford did.

Seriously, if we can get an early goal I could see us beating them 3-0 in a similar game to when we did that at Chelsea. I don't think they know how to come back from going 1-0 down and definitely not 2-0.

I'm really looking forward to this, I can see their crowd getting on his back if we really go for it.

I certainly haven’t and I don’t expect to batter any side. Our games are always tight and the ones we’ve won recently have been close games. Just scraped past Pompey recently. I think we’d be doing well to score a goal at Burnley, never mind batter them.

You also said you think Burnley's attack is much better than it was in the first game tbf.

I believe we'll score, we rarely fail to whereas Burnley are clearly struggling, they drew 0-0 at home to Stoke in their last home game so I don't see them as anything to be scared of. I'm basing my belief on the fact that they're unused to coming back from a goal down whereas we aren't.

Burnley last came back, from a goal down to draw, at Hull who were bottom - 23rd October

They came back, from a goal down to win, against Portsmouth who were bottom - 21st September

That's all ... if we go ahead I think we have just the right team to be able to pick them off.

Their 4 attacking players will be completely different to those that lined up at the SoL

I think it’ll be a really tight game with 0-0 more possible than usual

    Different, yes … scoring, no.

I’m looking at this as a fan, not as a betting man …

… I believe, if we score the first goal, we can beat them by three.

They’d have to attack and try to score which they’ve only managed twice after going behind.

I've seen Burnley on TV a few times and they've never impressed me. Even at our place after Neil was sent off they didn't threaten our goal and I don't think much has changed with them since that game. Yes their defensive record is exemplary but from what I've seen of them they don't offer much going forward and seem to nick goals to win. If we can get the first goal I think we could get a second. Don't get me wrong, I think it's going to be a tough and scrappy game but we have enough to do the double over them and make a massive statement to the other teams at the top of the league

You could pretend to be a John Cooper Clarke type, put the commentary on through your speakers and play your guitar alongside as backing music. Just a thought. <laugh>

The more I think about tomorrow's game the more I think we have a hell of a chance for 3 points.

We have so many options both to start and come off the bench, goal scoring threats from all over the pitch and pace to burn up top.

I got a feeling Adil might not start but will come on and get the goal he has been working so hard for

The way Enzo was talking in that video I think he'll start and it'll be down to Adil or Mayenda who'll drop down to the bench. I think Rigg will come on for Le Fee but I think Sallis will spend the night on the bench unless we're batten down the hatches in the last 10 mins. Some great options on the bench tomorrow night

Going for 1-2 to the cuddlies. Both of our strikers to score wonder goals again. Or 1 yard tap ins if they want. Either will do.

    Cheers once again RTB.

What I've noticed is that there's a distinct lack of people saying 'I have a bad feeling about this game' or 'this will a tough game, they're flying' ...

... I think we all know we can beat them and they're not a frightening team to play.

I can see the crowd turning on them tomorrow.

With how they are playing and the lack of goals I wouldn't blame them. I know winning is all that really matters, but it must be soul destroying grinding out a 1-0 rather than showing a bit of flair
