On the Acun thing, I don’t understand the animosity towards him. He wants good attacking football/goals as much as the rest of us. I did not see this poor form/passing around the back style of play coming after what was promised and neither did Acun - otherwise he wouldn’t have appointed Tim Walter in the first place.

It feels like a ‘be careful what you wish for’ moment to those criticising him. We would be in serious trouble if he left.

This is the case in point. Right now I'm questioning Acun's intentions. Every big decision he's made has been questionable at some point. The unfair sacking of McCann, the swindling to appoint his useless friend, the unfair sacking of Rosenior. The reluctance of perhaps refusal to sign a decent striker when it's clear that's our biggest problem. Not an abundance of useless goalkeepers and midfielders. Acun has questions to answer. I'm losing trust in him.

When Acun held his emergency meeting with the fans before the season started, he was asked if he was going to sell the club. His answer was very telling, he said something along the lines of ‘I’ll stay whilst people like me / want me to be here’.

That always stuck with me, as I already thought he’d drop us and run if the going got tough and he wasn’t popular anymore. I guess we’re about to find out!

Have people forgot what it was like under the allams for the last few years, yes acun’s made some bad decisions but he’s also done some very good things and I believe his heart is in the right place and wants the best for the club and his investment.
Theres no guarantee the next guy is any better, people say they want acun gone…..this isn’t like selling a partworn tyre or a second hand ford fiesta, it’ll be a tough sell if at all

I completely agree, his heart is in the right place and the club as a whole is in a better place than it was under the Allam’s.

But he’s proven time and time again he’s not cut out for running a club and making the big decisions, he needs to hire a CEO and director of football to run the club for him and he can take a step back and enjoy the success.

I’m also cautious that we’ve only seen him when fan sentiment towards him is good, he seems to have a bit of an ego and I’m wary of how he will take to criticism.

We would be in serious trouble if he left you're right. I don't really have much animosity to him just, skepticism. He's a nice guy I don't believe he's genuine though. To appoint his friend as manager when becoming a new owner is surely a conflict of interest? The alarm bells have been ringing with me since that early. I guess I must have trust issues since Ehab.

The Walter appointment, I really have no idea why we did. He failed 3 times to get promoted from Germany 3rd division. How is that a championship manager equivalent?

He was managing in the 2nd tier, not the third.

Rosenior was sacked after underperforming and had us miss out on the playoffs.

Tim is gonna be sacked with us playing like **** and down toward the bottom end.

They are not the same.
Agreed, some seem to think Roseniors sacking was wrong because of how **** we've been since, but it is possible to think they both deserve it....the football ALL calendar year has been dull, and between em they've only won three ****ing home league games in 10 1/2 months, roseys stuff was just a bit more effective.....prob due to having 90m quids worth of options in the front 4.

Yeah I posted a few days ago,
I think he needs an experienced ceo or dof and now I think he needs an experienced manager who knows the championship. I know he didn’t think he did when he was looking for Rosie’s replacement but he needs someone to guide this squad out of this situation and acun needs someone to take some pressure off his shoulders before he loses all interest

Weird stat but Philogene, Delap and Fabio started together just twice for us last season and the season was pretty much done. But people make out like it was our forward line all year.

We didn't get the play-offs because of the injuries to Delap & Philogene, and we had no depth. It's pretty much as simple as that, we didn't 'underperform' it's just a daft narrative being thrown around. We lost Delap for 15 games and Jaden for 14 and without them we fell off a cliff.
