Bet it was dopey Dan Neil getting himself in trouble.

Big week for the club! Maybe he's just putting clubs off bidding for him!

Be very happy with just two strikers.

Ideally, one top striker, another left winger and whatever else.

I’d be prioritising a defensive midfielder over another winger, personally.

    Then fullback cover possibly.

I’ll be happy enough with getting another striker in and shifting those who aren’t going to get a sniff of first team out on loan. Anything else is a bonus.

I think we'll see two forward players come in,possibly a right back and 4 or 5 leave, either permanent or loan....Pembele,Anderson,Jewi,Hemir and, maybe,Rusyn depending on recruitment.I'll be surprised if any of Adil,Ba or Ekwah go.
    But....what do I know apart from nothing!!:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Going to be a busy week by the sounds of it.

    Players out
    Ba - Loan
    AA - permanent
    Hemir - loan
    Johnson - loan
    Ekwah - permanent
    Triantis - loan
    Rusyn - permanent
    Jewi - loan
    Pembele - loan

    Players in
    Striker
    Centre midfield
Full back x 2 (if we can't find one to cover both sides)

    Would give us

    GK Patto, Moore
    RB Hume, new player
    CB Ballard, 09, Alese, Hejdle
    LB Cirkin, new player

CM Neil, Jobe, Rigg, Browne, New Player
    LW Mundle, Wilson
    RW Roberts, Poveda

    CF Mayenda, new Striker

21 man squad supplemented with players from the u21's if needed

If we sign a striker (Cannon/Simic) and some full back cover, I'd be happy with the squad. Obviously any departures would need replacing on top of that potentially but as the squad is, that's all I feel we are lacking currently.

Is nice going into the last week of the window not needing major surgery to the squad, striker or 2 if I’m being greedy and that’s us well in contention at the top

Not sure why people keep mentioning a defensive midfielder, the first choice midfielders are 3 out of jobe, Rigg, Browne and Neil. So anyone you sign is just another back up

The fact that we are going into the last few days of the window only losing Clarke is remarkable.

    after we reliably told that

    Patto
    Ballard
    Alese
    Ekwah
    Jobe
    Neil
    Rigg
    Roberts

were all going to go as well shows you how well we are being ran and that, maybe, I said maybe the model is starting to work

Because it’s a long season and 4 players to cover 3 positions isn’t enough.

None of them are predominantly defensive either.

Exactly mate, deadline day could turn out to be good entertainment ...

... what I'm looking forward to most is the sight of rivals either losing important players, failing with last minute signings they expected to nail or panicking and doing a 'Will Grigg' <laugh>

I’d be happy with us nailing a quality striker at this point and Cirkin staying fit. A goal scoring winger, the serbian cm and another striker would be a bonus but not necessary. We have a load of defenders coming back.
