Got transfer fatigue by now and not fussed which one of them we get. Have been absolutely buzzing at different points the past about getting each of them. Hope the club get the one they want the most. Now that we’ve made a sale and sit top of the league, hopefully we can compete for the best possible realistic players available

Daft as it sounds but I really hope we get Simic over Cannon and Mendy.

just noticed Brandon Williams is available on a free. Plays full back either side. Good loan at Ipswich last season.

We should be all over that. Amazed he’s not been snapped up.


Edit - apparently has mental health issues and is addicted to laughing gas. Shame.
 
My take on what I think will happen, partly what I'm hoping too.

I think we are gonna use Isidor as our 2nd choice left winger and back up forward, I'm hoping this leads to Cannon and Simic, but it might just end up being the one. Cannon will probably come with Browne aiding and the fact he knows we've already tried for him.

Watson will go on loan to National League so we can bring him back if needed, which means he can cover us. If he impresses out on loan, he'll earn a better loan in Jan.

Adil will leave either permanent or loan. Ba will possibly leave on loan.

Ekwah stays and we'll sign the Serbian centre mid we are tracking.

Johnson goes on loan to League 2, Triantis goes out on loan too, along with Hemir.

Sunderland don't need to worry about paying cash up front, we have plenty, or being held to ransom.

I believe, for once, that Sunderland are in control of 'our window' and will come out well.

We've muddied the waters enough so that Caen or Leicester aren't sure who we want more.

And with the signing of Wilson, plus the emergence of Mayenda, we're not desperate to sign either ...

... be nice to get both though <laugh>

Is Simic realistic? I know he was in talks but he’s been linked to a fair few.

Seems like another Divin Mubama situation the longer it goes on.

No idea mate. Basing my preference on how he would seem to fit.

Cannon would worry me as he’s missed a lot of football and has only the spell at Preston.

Mendy looks OK but how long is it going to take him to be match hardened, he’s not had a pre-season, training on his own/with Caen’s reserves isn’t ideal.

Simic is one that's above our level. He's the name given when they've asked Stuart Harvey "If you could sign any young striker across Europe to fit our style, who would it be"...

It's ambitious as hell and I'll be flabbergasted if it comes off, but incredibly excited.
