Some people complaining it will be bad for Mayenda were the same ones lagging him off against Cardiff, can't win haha

Plenty of games through the season both mayenda can play wide also more strength in depth

Seems sensible if it happens

I don’t think I’ve slagged any of the strikers we signed off, none of them were given a proper chance last season and were playing ahead of midfielders who were dreadful playing around a striker. I’ve given Mayenda nothing but praise first two games of the season.

Didn't necessarily say you were

People have praised boro who seem to have 4 and call it ambition

I'd be worried if mendy was signed and got injured and left us just with mayenda and rusyn, too much pressure for them in what we are hoping is a promotion/play off season

Have any British clubs done so yet? Been googling but haven't found any. Think Chelsea might have signed a youth player

edit: Sheffield United got one on loan in 22 but that seems to have been through the foreign player contract exemption that FIFA put in place. This lad has continued to play in Russia since then.
Not that I can find. Anyone know if this deal is even possible?

I’ve never claimed Boro have ambition neither :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I’m just saying it’s another young striker with barely any experience under his belt that we’re taking a chance on. Hopefully Mendy still comes and this lad is back up however if we’re putting our eggs into this basket and sacking off Mendy then it’s not great.

On one hand people say that if you aren’t happy clapping about every single player we sign then you aren’t a proper fan yet the same fans are far too stubborn to admit how many of these signings we’ve all been hyped up for have done absolutely nothing to improve us. Signing new players is always exciting but when you get chuffed time and time again watching videos, reading data etc then they turn out to be turd and news breaks that you’re after someone of a similar profile it’s hard to be overly/positive.

Good comparison that mate. War torn country in which most of the foreign players had their contracts terminated is now the same standard as the Premier League, get the lad signed up I’m sure he’ll be smashing 30 goals this season.

Someone get a YouTube video up of him quick so you can all rave about how good he is :emoticon-0102-bigsm
No idea what you are on about, not sure you do either.

You were confusing Russia and Ukraine, then implied it was all about the same because they were in a similar part of the world. A bit like, England, Scotland and Wales are, doesn’t make our domestic leagues anywhere near the same standard.

Pre-war, Russia was a much higher standard, not so sure now but I’d guess the Russian league is still fairing better than poor Ukraine.

Yuo said the leagues are from the same region, his point is that Scottish and English football are close, means absolutely nothing interms of league quality. The Russian league is well better than the Ukranian, even after a mass exodus of it's players
Cheers mate, wish I saw this before I replied to him explaining the same thing, ha.

I was being serious I wasn't talking about you, hopefully we find the right balance between them

Portsmouth signing a young CM from Dortmund, Kamara - watched this lad a couple yrs a go n he looked very good. Has all the raw attributes youd want, big powerful lad whose techncially good but had zero aggression when i watched him

Looking forward to seeing how he gets on
