Agree. Just a hell of a gamble on his fitness.

Love the lad, we were in the corner behind the goal at Wembley his shot went in so we were in the first group to know it was in and we were up, that memory and love for the fella is eternal.
It is but our medical team will know him n his history really well so should be able to gauge if hes over his injury or not

Same as has been said, just too much of a gamble with the injuries.

The lad was brilliant for us and a great fit, but I agree he will struggle to ever get back to that level now.

I don't know. Look at Frazier Campbell and Duncan Watmore. They weren't prolific afterwards, but they weren't rubbish either.

Kind of feels like we are being trapped by our own model in a way. We love and need Clarke but he is our only main sellable asset in order for us to push on and spend money on a quality striker and a few others.

Just have to prey we don't panic and end up signing any old ****e like usual

Like Clarke?

Wonder if we've ever took notice of that Myziane Maolida, can't remember if I've mentioned him before, he kept Mayenda out of the Hibs side with his form. Good pedigree.

@Scout73 have I asked you about him before?

He's had two entirely different injuries so it's not like he has a particular weakness. One was a hamstring at Sheff Wed at a time when he was flying. The other was a broken foot after a bad tackle ...

... Bobb, at Man City, has just been ruled out for months with a broken foot in a non-constact training incident.

This whole Poveda 'crock' theory is nonsense.

I wasnt a fan when i watched him last season, but Hibs fans at my work rave about him. The games i watched his decision making was poor - tried to do too much by himself - and he offered little out of possession

According to hibs fans his best position is LM so i cant see us going for him

Hertha signed him as a winger for sure. He didn’t exactly light up Bundesliga 2

Very hit n miss, has loads of technical ability but hibs said that he has to be loved. Hibs fans loved him as he gave them a bit of x factor - it was a shocking team tho

Stewart is more likely to go out on loan in January IF he's been unable to make an impact in the team. It would be madness for Southampton to loan him out without seeing him play a run of games.

Even more madness from the team they're loaning him to.

Hard to see that happening purely because of the competitiveness of the Premiership and situation that Southampton are likely to find themselves in (fighting relegation).

Just seen something on RTG that is interesting.

2 years ago we lined up…

Patterson
Ballard - Batth - Cirkin
Gooch - Neil - Evans - Clarke
Pritchard
Simms - Stewart

O’Nien, Alese and Roberts on the bench

Have we really improved in 2 years?
