Feel like i'm saying it too much but we absolutely could do with a sale. Ekwah, for me, would be the easiest to deal with even though it would probably be the smallest fee out of our bigger assets

Imagine if we could sell Ekwah and use the money to get Stansfield permanently, as an example. Or some other striker costing £6-8m

There was definite interest mate, looking like we are done there. Wish I knew more, I'm itching.
Other than Michael Walker saying we were interested, is there any concrete sources that we were in for him? All the local journos just piggied back on the Sheffield Star.

Michael walker is probably as concrete as it gets no?

Looking back to it, Walkers tweet just stated Ugbo was an option. Phil Smith and the Sheffield Star said we were favourites to sign him.

He was probably an option but nothing more.

Probably not, but I think there's many names that don't get out when they end up elsewhere.

I still think Sory Kaba could be us…

So the way I’m thinking is. The two clubs that got leaked early on for him was Wednesday and WBA.

Wednesday have gotten Ugbo by the looks and WBA got a spending restriction. Also their business is usually always all over social media.

Our business is deliberately kept quiet. So unnamed club and at 1.3m this stinks of Sunderland to me

It sounds like he's already agreed to come, just need to find an agreement with Caen.

If listening to undr the cosh has taught me anything, it's that players can force through moves whenever they want. From booting balls away in training, to slagging the club off.

It's only a matter of time imo.

This exactly.... essentially whats gone on & whats been said in public...no way back for him to play for Caen from either side.... without a doubt he will leave them....only question is will it definitely be here as he wants

Camara, Marcus Maddison, Cole Stockton, John Marquis, Clarke-Harris, Joe Pigott, Scott Fraser, Bright Enobakhare. And thats just from the league one days.

Some of the reason is, we watch the lads & see a lad put good display in against us, maybe a few times, we then dont always go & watch them week in week out to realise those',lessor' players lift their game few times a season but cant do it week in week out

I liked Camara, Fraser and Enobakhare. AlwYs thought the others were massively overrated. Enobakahare has cancelled most contracts since his loan to Cov, clearly been a troubled young man. Fraser and Kamara would have been okay though.
