Loved watching him when he 1st broke through, hopefully he reaches that potential

 

Hell of a player, I had him above Saka at one point, shame how their trajectories have differed.

 

Just logged in for first time in a few days. See Ugbo linked in press now. Although I note that two journalists from the same company seem to be using each other as validation, rather than two different outlets. I’d hope to see somebody like Sky or the athletic report on it before I saw it as two separate sources.

On Ugbo himself he clearly scored a few last season so on paper would be a good signing. But from my understanding he doesn’t suit the pressing game at all. More of a poacher type. Will be interesting to see if it develops.

 

Top signing for Fulham. Hope he gets his career goi g he’s great to watch.

 

They’re quite different players playing style wis. Think there’s a good we’ll be after both.

Fulham still in for Scott McTominay also. He’d be another really good signing, I reckon

 

Criminally underrated player. Less so last 18 month or so like think more are seeing it.

Sure they started interviews for coaches and backroom staff over a month ago. Nothing forthcoming

 

I’d be happy with Ugbo. Really hope we can get it over the line

My point being the athletic have never shown an interest in reporting just the odd transfer story etc. It’s normally stuff the club feels can / will happen.

So yeah at the minute he’s an option. Just interesting to me

 

Valid question, why are we in August and still weighing up our options?

I have no faith In Speakman or the rest of them at the moment, it seems we are dawdling.

Do you honestly believe signing quality strikers is easy? Do you think Speakman and co are leaning back in their chairs going "nah, we'll just get a striker on deadline day. Who fancies a Nandos?"
