I think we 2 cfs, CB and a defensive midfielder away from having a very good season mate. I've got a feeling mayenda could be the forward off the future but would like him to sit behind a experienced one and learn from him. Careful mate, I think you might be heavily prone to confirmation bias. Especially when it comes to Sunderland making exciting signings.
This means when you like something or want it to happen, if someone tells you a lie that it's going to happen, your desire to see it happen overpowers your ability to objectively view the situation.
These stories might be real, they might be bullsh!t, but being able to parse the stories via account, original source, likelihood due to mitigating factors is crucial to smelling the bullsh!t.
I think you heavily championed the Mendy news a couple of weeks back, you were all over that, without going through your posting history I would assume that isn't the only transfer you've been all in on, maybe Ugbo is your next one?
None Sunderland related but Smith Rowe has finally signed for Fulham. Think that could be a great move for both parties if they can keep him fit.
