Didn’t Stansfield have his photos done before he changed his mind and went to Birmingham?

Well that's a very encouraging signing, from what others with more knowledge have described.
    Well done Speakman.

I’m sure Alese came as a left sided centre half when we bought him.

No idea but all is forgiven. He's welcome to come and have some photos taken in this year's kit as well.

He trained with the squad yesterday. Presumably He signed and all the media was done the day before?

Good stuff. You'd expect he'd be in one of the two games on Saturday then

Bet he can’t wait to play some proper football instead of Lowes terrorist football. Be good to see what he can do in a team who like to be on the ball and pass it about

And here's a few guesses from me ...

... he was their player of the year, captain and has missed more games through suspension than injury.

I'm surprised that there have been no comments from the posters who have consistently accused the club of recruiting on the cheap. :emoticon-0116-evilg :emoticon-0110-tongu
What a great free transfer signing <applause>

I'm ****ing delighted when the club get a good player for nowt. Weird to want your club to spunk away their capital.

Completely agree. Great signing. Imo,going into this next season we needed a cdm and a couple of front runners, obviously depending on outgoings and injuries.
If we keep our key players, including Clarke for another year, sign a ready made striker, and can find a back up,who might already be here, get our injured players back....this is a seriously good squad, which, with the right coaching and preparation, can go to the top of this league. I think our recruitment team know what to do and I'm getting very optimistic that everyone else might see us as the team to beat.

Some people will convince themselves they've pushed the club into this kind of signing ...

Fair play to the club, feel Browne is exactly what we’ve needed. Very happy with our start to the window

Already seeing it loads. Despite it not moving away in any way from what we’ve done before under KLD and Speakman.
