Feel sorry for the January signings, they came into a shocking set up - no real manager until the end of the season, no style of play and a team so low on confidence. Hard to judge the 3 of them fully in that period.
Last summer we know was poor, we focused on too many future prospects. Im looking forward to seeing how many, if any, of them kick on this season
Styles is one where I feel like under different circumstances he'd have been a good signing. 2 head coaches, about 4 different positions within multiple different systems and in general an underperforming squad.
The type of signing he was, a 23 y/o with a lot of championship games under his belt and a regular international, has worked for us with Ballard so it's unfortunate this one didn't.
Glad we haven't signed him permanently but disappointed that it didn't work out.

Charlie Wyke signed for Carlisle. Should still do okay at L2 level.
All of our deals are undisclosed so hopefully that is not the case
Not sure as the lad was in a struggling manager less team. Did ok without being outstanding. Which you can say about almost every decent player we had second half of last season.

Styles made no impact at all and looked bottom 6 championship level. Wasn't what we needed at the time and performances showed this.

Definitely agree with this from what we saw but also agree with those saying it was hard to judge because of the **** show of decision making. He was repeatedly played in a position that exposed him and never where he performs internationally. Dodds ball.
Yeah that’s fair mate, I’m potentially being too harsh.
Just think we need to be pushing for better signings than him if we are to progress.
As I say, I don’t actually know how good he is. Saw him play a couple of very good games and some poor to average. But, from what I saw, I don’t think he’s right for us. Think he’ll be a canny lower end championship player though
Rigg was in one the gym pictures they released on Twitter, if he was off elsewhere I doubt they'd be publishing pictures of him.
