Class news on Rigg if true. And it shows one thing that is absolutely class, the lad and his parents are switched on enough to know that playing time and commitment to developing him is more important than more money!

Still sounds like he is getting a good contract but I bet some clubs were offering double or even treble the wage he will get here.

The attitude he has shown signing shows a lot of maturity and is another indicator this lad has the making of a star.
It also shows that the club is also doing a lot of things right to persuade him and others before to commit to the future at this (OUR) club. Yes, things aren't perfect but, imo, things are going in the right direction :1980_boogie_down:

I think he adds a lot to our team and will do even more so when played centrally. Looking forward to seeing how RLB uses him.

Defo has to be played centrally but ignoring any incomings as we’ve no idea what they’ll be yet does having Rigg instead of Jobe improve the midfield 3 with Neil and Ekwah? I’m not sure it does tbh

I think he could do. So far he hasn't been the same goal threat as Jobe (although he still got 3 in the game time he was given) but he definitely releases the ball quicker and has better vision. Jobe slowed down our play far too often last season by wanting 4 or 5 touches every time he got it.

Rigg stays on his feet more! Sounds like I’m knocking Jobe. Guess I am a bit. - he has frustrated me at times. Looking forward to seeing what the new coach will do with them both.
